[After the opening montage promo comes to a completion, we transition inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois which is packed with 19,500 fans in attendance. The crowd is on their feet cheering in anticipation for the night’s bouts. Camera angles pan around from one point to another, catching fans, athletes, and celebrities in attendance. We then transition to meet Patrick Carson and Warhead Williams standing cageside.]

PATRICK CARSON

Welcome ladies and gentlemen, we are live exclusively on the Battleground Network here at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio and this is Boss Fight XI! I am Patrick Carson and alongside me is none other than Warhead Williams, and I gotta say, it feels great to be back!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I’m with you there Patrick. After being off the air for a little over a month, and to finally be back in this atmosphere is second to none! Tonight we kickoff the 2019 Championship Grand Prix Tournaments with a lot of new faces, but the two headlining fights tonight are highly anticipated rematches from our inaugural championship tournaments just a year ago.

PATRICK CARSON

Our two title fights have very similar backstories with very similar lead-ins to tonight. In our Co-Main Event, the lethal “Black Rose” Hanako Takeuchi will look to defend her Lightweight Title against former champion Jordan Parker-Kane, who is the only fighter to beat her in Union Grand Prix. This is a rematch to the inaugural championship finals and I’m sure it’s one that Hanako has been eager to setup.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

JPK shocked the world to become the youngest champion in Union GP history, and the first Lightweight Champion when he devised the perfect strategy to score the win over the heavily favored Takeuchi. Prior to that fight, Hanako was the reigning IJPW Shoot Crown Champion and declared she would offer a title shot to anyone who could defeat her in the tournament. JPK wound up being that man, and the two would face off again for Hanako’s title in the Yamashi Promotions brand, where she scored the victory. You could technically call this the trilogy match between these two dual-sport athletes and it’s one of the biggest fights we’ve all been anxiously waiting for.

PATRICK CARSON

Our Main Event of the evening has an almost identical setup, as the Cruiserweight Champion Roscoe Robinson looks to defend his title for a fourth time and avenge his only professional MMA loss against the silent assassin, Seth Daniels.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Roscoe Robinson has earned the nickname “The Shooter” for his deadly accurate striking, which has toppled a number of big names in the game like Daniel Fisk, Viktor Volkov, Nathan Lucas, and Jason Jackson. However, he has but one blemish to his record and that comes at the hands of Seth Daniels. Daniels defeated Robinson in the semifinals of the inaugural championship tournament, and some say a big factor was his non commitment to any of Roscoe’s banter. Daniels has been known to be reserved and not dish out much trash talk, and it obviously irked The Shooter leading up to their first fight, and this one as well! The big question here is whether we’ll see the same results as their first encounter, or has Roscoe looked past the mind games of Daniels.

PATRICK CARSON

These two fighters are definitely on different paths since their first bout, so it's a total unknown how this plays out. On top of that, we have four more qualifying bouts, where the winners will officially enter the Championship Grand Prix Tournament of their respective weight class. So let's not waste any more time and turns things over inside the octagon where our very own Mike Dempsey awaits!

DU

DU HAST

DU HAST MICH

[“Du Hast” by Rammstein blares over the loudspeaker and Milo Dragomir emerges to the stage wearing his black and white walkout fight kit with his crew following behind. Milo has a stern, almost blank expression as he appears to be laser-focused on the octagon ahead of him.]

PATRICK CARSON

Making his professional MMA debut here tonight, you take one look at Milo Dragomir and simply say ”damn”!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

The dude is built like a tank, but he's yet to be tested on the battlefield. He's got a big opportunity here tonight, if he can secure a victory, he will officially enter the Heavyweight Championship Grand Prix Tournament.

[Once he makes it to cageside, Dragomir strips down to his trunks before getting checked out by the fight official. Once he's been cleared, he lumbers his way up the steps and heads straight to his corner, never changing his facial expression.]

DIAMONDS ON FLEEK

BITCH, I AIN'T TALKING ABOUT THE HEAT, OH

PUT IT ON, STREETS

WE STRAIGHT OUT THE STREETS

WE STRAIGHT OUT THE STREETS

STRAIGHT OUT THE STREETS TO A PENTHOUSE

[As “Clout” by Offset begins to play over the PA system, Kennard Rozier slowly emerges from the main stage wearing his baby blue and grey walkout fight kit. Various members from the 9th World Performance Institute follow close behind him, most notably Head Coach Ray Delhommes.]

PATRICK CARSON

And now coming to the octagon now, Kennard Rozier is looking to extend his winning ways with big stakes on the line.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Rozier made his debut at UGP 11, scoring an impressive first round finish over Damiko Conrad with a devastating knee. Rozier displayed some solid striking and moves really well, especially for a bigger guy. He’ll need to utilize that speed here tonight.

[Rozier finally makes it to cageside, where he undresses down to his tights before getting inspected by the fight official. Once he's been cleared, Rozier bear crawls up the steps and lunges high into the air as he enters the cage. Rozier then calmly walks over to his corner, where he begins bouncing in place to stay loose.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, we are live exclusively on the Battleground Network here at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio for Boss Fight XI! And now, this opening bout is scheduled for three rounds in the Union Grand Prix Heavyweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Boxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 0-0. He stands at 6'5” and weighing in at 252 pounds. He is from Warsaw, Poland, fighting out of The Sym Gym, he is "The Mauler" Milo Dragomir!

[Milo Dragomir is calm in his corner. He looks confident of his abilities.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Kickboxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 1-0. He stands 6’5” and weighing in at 255 pounds. He is from Kansas City, Missouri, fighting out of the 9th World Performance Institute, he is ”Pluggz” Kennard Rozier!

[Kennard Rozier doesn't look concerned about anything his opponent brings to the table as he continues to bounce in place.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Alright ladies and gentlemen, we are just moments away to get this night kicked into gear and the Grand Prix Tournaments officially underway. The crowd here tonight is obviously behind Rozier, but it may be a little closer than we think. Looking at the numbers in our Social Media poll, it's a deadlock, 50-50 split between these two.

PATRICK CARSON

Rozier has the slight edge in recognition but that can only get you so far. But it's time to put the speculations to rest as our referee for this contest, Dusty Whittaker, checks off with each fighter one last time and calls for the bell! It's bout time!

=========================================

ROUND ONE

=========================================

[Kennard Rozier and Milo Dragomir touch gloves in the center to get this fight started! Dragomir immediately goes to clinch in order to control the fight. Both fighters are tied in a clinch and Rozier goes for a scissor takedown! That unusual takedown brings Dragomir down to the mat! Both fighters are now scrambling for position and Rozier gets to half guard. Dragomir attempts to move to full guard but Rozier keeps good control and remains in half guard.]

[Milo tries to conserve his energy with some deep breaths before throwing some hammer punches to Rozier's ribs. Rozier blocks those punches and looks to fight back! Rozier pushes Dragomir's leg and moves to full mount. Dragomir could be in trouble now!]

PATRICK CARSON

Kennard Rozier opens this fight up with a pretty technical and rare scissor takedown to get this fight to the ground early.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

You don’t often see big guys like this pull off those kind of intricate moves. Pretty amazing to see, honestly.

[Rozier tries to keep his position while looking to do some ground and pound. Rozier is able to control the situation despite Dragomir’s efforts to escape from the full mount. Rozier takes a deep breath as he passes his arm over Dragomir’s shoulder and pushes his arm against the mat! Dragomir struggles to free himself but eventually breaks free from that Americana attempt!]

[Milo now tries to roll to his side and get to half guard, but Kennard rolls him to his stomach and takes his back! Dragomir tries to stand up but Rozier doesn't allow him! Dragomir has Rozier controlling his back while on the ground. He tries to roll and find an escape then out of nowhere, BOOM! Vicious headbutt! Did he do that intentionally? Dusty Whittaker saw the foul! Dusty Whittaker stops the action and allows Rozier time to recover. After a few moments, the fight resumes with both fighters standing.]

PATRICK CARSON

Nasty headbutt from Milo Dragomir, but it didn’t look intentional and the referee just gives him a warning.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He’s gotta be careful with that, Whittaker gave him the benefit of the doubt, but may not be so forgiving if it happens again.

[Both fighters continue the fight on their feet. You can hear how the people agree with that decision. Rozier looks for angles as he throws a few jabs that are countered by Milo Dragomir's punches. Dragomir is on the receiving end of a great combo by Rozier now. Rozier moves forward and launches a brutal high kick that clips Dragomir on the cheek! Dragomir's left cheek is beginning to swell a bit.]

PATRICK CARSON

A beautiful head kick by Rozier and it’s got Dragomir wobbly!

[Milo Deagomir thinks fast and shoots in for a single leg, but Kennard Rozier sprawls back to Stuff the takedown. As Milo stands back to his feet, Rozier launches a couple of jabs and then a big hook! Dragomir blocks the jabs but the last punch hits hard! Dragomir stumbles over his feet before dropping to the mat! As he looks up from the mat starry eyed, a small cut on his left cheek begins to trickle with blood.]

[Rozier is standing while Dragomir is on the ground on his back. Milo doesn't want to continue the fight in this position and tries to get back on his feet, but he can't do it because of Rozier's movement. Rozier launches a kick to Dragomir's thigh that connects with a loud pop. Kennard shuffles around before launching a 3-piece kick combo to Milo’s thighs that leaves some nasty looking welts. Dragomir tries to get back on his feet again but Kennard keeps the pressure on him. Dragomir lowers his arms while breathing heavily and he looks visibly tired.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This fight is looking awfully one sided. Rozier is in total control in this opening round.

[Rozier finally moves backwards and gestures for Milo Dragomir to stand up. He slowly climbs to his feet and the fight continues on the feet now. Rozier looks for angles as he throws a few jabs that are countered by Dragomir's punches. Dragomir is on the receiving end of a great combo by Rozier. Dragomir's right eye is bruised after the punishment he received. Kennard Rozier's mind is definitely in the fight, he rushes in on his opponent and unloads a barrage of punches and Dragomir is eating every single one of them! Dragomir drops to the mat and Kennard Rozier follows him down, but the referee has seen enough and wedges in between the two to call the fight off! Dragomir seems dazed and confused as the bell sounds and the referee is ordering him to relax and explain that the fight is over.]

PATRICK CARSON

That's it! It’s all over! Kennard Rozier finishes this fight inside the first round, capping it off with a phenomenal combination of strikes!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Milo Dragomir had no answer to those devastating blows and he still doesn't know what just happened.

[The crowd explodes into cheers and Rozier runs to his corner and jumps up to sit on top of the cage and celebrate with his crew. Doctors tend to Dragomir for a while before helping him to his feet. After doctors and cut men finish their work, both fighters meet back to the center of the octagon for the official call.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Dusty Whittaker has called for a stop in this fight at 4 minutes 6 seconds in the very first round, for your winner by technical knockout, ”Pluggz” Kennard Rozier!

[The crowd cheers as Rozier has his hand raised in victory. Both fighters shake hands as a gesture of mutual respect before splitting off to each one’s crew. A graphic pops up on screen, breaking down the statistics of the fight as the commentators recap.]

[Camera back to the hardest working man in media Toussaint Harper with Bobbi London sitting beside him catching the action from cageside.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Here this time with the beautiful Bobbi London. Bobbi you just saw the fight between Mike Hunt and Aleki Fa'atiu. What are your thoughts now that you know what the future holds?

BOBBI LONDON

First off, thank yous for the proper introduction mate! Just for the record, yous a bit easy on the eyes as well, yah?

[Toussaint takes it all in stride, and Bobbi goes into her analysis as the fighters clear out of the cage.]

BOBBI LONDON

I’s gotta say, ‘ats off to the both of those lads! They both got in there and bloody well got after it! Aleki came up a bit short, but ‘e got nothing to ‘ang ‘is ‘ead over. Just needs to get back to camp and put what ‘e learnt to good use. As for Mikey…

[Bobbi eyed him as he strode out the cage with his team in victory. She nodded and even added a few claps of her own to those from the crowd.]

BOBBI LONDON

…’e put on a good show tonight. I’s know ‘e wanted to get the big finish, but any win yous can walk away from is a good one. I know ‘e looked a bit gassed as the fight drug on, but ‘e finished bloody strong! I’s ‘ave no doubt that ‘e’ll be just as tough when the two of us meet up!

TOUSSAINT HARPER

You going to be looking to take him into the deep water like Aleki did tonight?

[Bobbi gave a coy smile.]

BOBBI LONDON

Nah mate, we’d gonna bang! One of us gonna get knocked cold if I’s have my way. Know what I mean mate?

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Indeed I do. Good luck to you Ms. London. We will be seeing you soon.

[She winked at him and held up her meaty fists to the camera.]

BOBBI LONDON

Bet your sweet ass you will mate!

BREAKING THE SILENCE IN THIS MORNING LIGHTS

COLD WIND IS CALLING

MARCHING WITH FIRE AND STEEL IN YOUR HEARTS

SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS

SHY MYSTIC RAIN, YOU'LL BE FROZEN IN TIME

[“Into the Legends” by Rhapsody of Fire blares over the loudspeaker and Louie Bartolo emerges to the stage wearing his black and white walkout fight kit with his crew following behind. Bartolo has a stern, almost blank expression as he appears to be laser-focused on the octagon ahead of him.]

PATRICK CARSON

Our second debut on the main card tonight, and it comes within our very first fight in the newly established Bantamweight Division. Louie Bartolo comes from Bologna, Italy where he has been a mainstay in the smaller amateur circuits for quite some time.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He's decided now is his time to take a crack at the big leagues, and what better way to do it then enter in a tournament to crown an inaugural champion!

THEY COULD NEVER BE BIGGER

[As "Point of View" by Twelve Foot Ninja begins to play over the PA system, Dallas Meechan makes his way to the main stage in grand fashion. Donning his gray fight kit trimmed in blue, Meechan hypes himself up by beating his chest while the crowd grows with cheers. He begins to make his way down the aisleway, soaking in the energy in the arena, while several coaches from his camp follow closely behind.]

PATRICK CARSON

Another competitor making his professional debut, Dallas Meechan is a Scottish native that has had a lot of hype built around him. He’s not one to shy away from any conflicts, and he’s sure to be an exciting fighter both inside and out of the cage in the future.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This has the makings of a big signing written all over it. A lot of the coaches within his camp at ScrapYard MMA have spoke highly of the guy. There isn’t a lot of tape on him, but I’m excited to see what he brings to the table here tonight.

[Meechan finally makes it to cageside, where he undresses down to his tights before getting inspected by the fight official. Once he's been cleared, Meechan races up the steps and throws his arms out like an explosion upon entering the cage. He jogs over to his corner, shadow boxing along the way and playing up to the crowd.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the Union Grand Prix Bantamweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Wrestler with a professional mixed martial arts record of 0-0. He stands at 5'6” and weighing in at 135 pounds. He is from Bologna, Italy, fighting out of The Sym Gym, he is Louie “Bodybag” Bartolo!

[Bartolo simply nods his head, never losing sight of his opponent.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Muay Thai Boxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 0-0. He stands at 5’10” and weighing in at 135 pounds. He is from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, fighting out of ScrapYard MMA, he is “Playboy” Dallas Meechan!

[Meechan raises both arms high in the air with clenched fists as the crowd roars with cheers.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Folks we are just seconds away from having our very first Bantamweight fight in Union Grand Prix history. Two fighters are about to thrown down with a chance to officially etch their name into the Grand Prix Tournament. The crowd is decisively behind Dallas Meechan tonight, and so are the fans watching at home. 81% of the fans that took our Social Media poll believes that “Playboy” Dally comes out victorious.

PATRICK CARSON

A bright star in the making, and we are about to see what all of the hype is about! Our referee for this contest is Herschel Warden. He checks off with each man one last time and now he’s calling for the bell! And here we go!

=========================================

ROUND ONE

=========================================

[The bell announces the first round! Meechan walks right in and immediately goes for the clinch. Both fighters tie-up, but not much is doing so referee Herschel Warden separates the fighters and tells them to continue fighting in the center of the cage. Meechan's mind is definitely in the fight, Bartolo just got nailed! Dallas Meechan saw an opening and delivered a big right hand! Bartolo is going to have a headache after that strike.]

PATRICK CARSON

You can hear the excitement from the crowd here. Louie Bartolo just got rocked with a nasty hook!

[Louie Bartolo retaliates and just won't stop as he rains down punches, but Meechan plays it smart and quickly defends the combo. Bartolo shoots a takedown, but Meechan hops back and delivers a powerful kick to the head! Meechan follows up with a stiff jab! That barely hits Bartolo's face but it seems like one finger has poked his eye! Herschel Warden didn't see the foul!]

[Dallas Meechan moves forward looking for some grappling action. He rushes in and locks his opponent in a text book double collar thai clinch! Bartolo tries to shrug his way out of the clinch but Meechan pummels through and manages to retain his position. Meechan takes a break to breathe while holding Bartolo. The referee intervenes to break the clinch after a stalemate.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

These two fighters are showing each other a ton of respect.

[Meechan bounces around before launching an Incredible high kick! Bartolo gets rocked and looks wobbly! Bartolo rushes in and the two exchange wildly with Meechan connecting with a few punches. Meechan moves aside and launches a furious low kick! That hard blow to Bartolo's leg causes him to buckle at the knee and Meechan rushes in for the kill! Meechan rains down a flurry of punches and Bartolo is in serious trouble! Herschel Warden is asking Bartolo to defend himself! The referee has seen enough and jumps in between the fighters and stops the punishment for Bartolo.]

PATRICK CARSON

And it’s all over! Dallas Meechan storms his opponent to finish this one off!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

A perfect strategy for Playboy here. He lands a nasty head kick that puts Bartolo on Queer Street. From there he lands a brutal leg kick that folds Bartolo like a lawn chair, and after that he just pounced on him like the king of the jungle!

[The crowd explodes into cheers as Meechan celebrates the big win. Doctors tend to Bartolo for a while before finally helping him back up to his feet. After doctors and cutmen finish their work, both fighters meet back to the center of the octagon for the official call.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Herschel Warden has called for a stop in this fight at 2 minutes 33 seconds in the very first round, for your winner by technical knockout, ”Playboy” Dallas Meechan!

[The cameras zoom in on the view of Toussaint Harper on the job with UGP Heavyweight Amani Crawford sitting among the front, obviously intrigued by the results between Kennard Rozier and Milo Dragomir.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Amani you along with all the UGP fans witnessed firsthand and now you know for sure who you'll be facing in the quarterfinals. Were you impressed? Are you concerned? Anything you want to tell the rest of the competition?

AMANI CRAWFORD

Impressed? Please. Dude just got bullied from start to finish. Kenny's ground game was sloppy but Milo couldn't do a damn thing to stop it. Me? Best believe I'm gonna shut that shit down. When, not if, our fight goes to the ground, I'm gonna bully him so hard, his momma's gonna wanna fuck me to get me to leave her son alone. And when that happens, this 'rest of the competition' you speak of is gonna have to take note. I'm comin' for that Heavyweight Belt and you can bet your last dollar that I'm gonna kill Kenny to get there.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Well then...uhh, thank you Amani.

[The camera cut to cageside where the busy body Toussaint Harper stands with Zion Momo'a to the left and Travis Decker to right. Momo’a is rocking his new XCVIII signature t-shirt, a pair of baggy basketball shorts, and a clean pair of blue and white Air Force 1 mids. He’s all smiles as he slips his sunglasses off for the interview, tucking the earpiece in his shirt to let them hang there. Toussaint gives a nod to both before looking directly at the camera.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Alright we're here cageside with "The Blasian Buzzsaw" Zion Momo'a and "Ripcord" Travis Decker. Now we might not have the date right now but due to the brackets you two are set to start your tournament battles against one another. From what I saw is respect shown between you both when the brackets were announced. Is it safe to say that is still the current feel between both of you?

ZION MOMO'A

Absolutely! I try to be respectful and sportsmanlike to everyone in this sport. Travis is a good guy, I have nothing against him at all. This is just our job. It’s business. Once it’s over, drinks are on me.

[Travis gives a nod.]

TRAVIS DECKER

I completely agree. Zion has been getting out there and showing what he can do, and its been impressive. I'm looking forward to testing myself against his skills. Win or lose, i'm hoping this fight washes the bad taste of my previous fight out of my mouth.

[Toussaint nods at both smiling at the sportsmanship.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

So when it comes to each, any worries about the other? Anyplace you are not trying to see the fight go?

TRAVIS DECKER

Not so much, but in this case I have a preference. We both rely on our kickboxing on the feet, so i'm no slouch in that department, but from what I have seen Zion doesn't want to be on the ground. So naturally, taking it there seems like a good idea on my part. Since my last fight I've essentially rebuilt myself from the ground up as an all-rounder, and those results are what I intend to show.

[Zion laughs softly and shrugs a bit at the response.]

ZION MOMO'A

We’ve got a great roster of wrestling and Jiu Jitsu coaches at 36th St. I’m feeling more and more comfortable when I’m rolling these days, but my wrestling has always been strong. I just use it to keep myself standing, instead of employing it to take the fight to the ground. The plan is and will always be, “Neutralize the takedown, force the fight to go where I dictate.” I love fighting on the feet, but I’m not scared at all to go to the ground. I welcome it, to be honest. Only one way to find out where you truly stand.

[Travis smiles.]

TRAVIS DECKER

Well said.

[Toussaint takes a moment and points toward the camera and audience around.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Anything at all either of you would like to say to your fans, friends, camp, or even to one another? Floor is yours.

ZION MOMO'A

Sure, just enjoy the war. That’s what we’re here for. I personally just appreciate the opportunity to be here. To be able to put on a show, and make a living doing what I love. I’m ready… for wherever and however this fight goes. I just want you, Travis, to bring everything you’ve got because I’m going to be doing the same.

TRAVIS DECKER

There is no chance of anything less. I am also greatly appreciative of where I am and what I do, and no matter what happens I know that it was against a good, /clean/, fighter. But beyond the scope of the fight itself, this opportunity means everything to me. I haven’t exactly made a massive impact since stepping foot in Union, and I haven’t drawn as much attention as the likes of Zion here. Since that fight I have done everything to prepare for this tournament, even before I knew I’d be fighting Zion. This is an opportunity for me to show that just because you don’t make an impact on social media, doesn’t mean you can’t make an impact in the cage. This far in my career I have felt largely overlooked, but if I beat Zion? If I win the whole god damn tournament? I dare anyone to try and overlook me then.

[Zion extends his hand to shake out of respect.]

ZION MOMO'A

Good luck bro.

[Travis gives a nod before firmly shaking Zion’s hand.]

TRAVIS DECKER

Likewise.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Purity of sportsmanship and competition 101. Everyone wave to the those on the couch who didn't get it.

[All three wave sarcastically as hell.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Looking forward to the Momo'a versus Decker battle. More action coming up.

BF11_Reese-vs-Santiago.png

I AM THE NIGHT

I AM THE DAY

I AM THE LIGHT GONE ASTRAY

[“Arise” by Wolfgang played in the arena, and the screen cuts to Santiago walking backstage along with Shigeru Toyama and Hikari Yoshida behind him. They are on the way to the octagon. Now Santiago's group emerges from the entrance. They march towards the cage as Santiago enters. He stretches his legs as he prepares for his opponent.]

PATRICK CARSON

Coming to the octagon now is Chris Santiago, a man who is still searching for his first win in Union Grand Prix.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He definitely hasn’t had it easy so far. His last fight was against Jakko Wirman, where he ate a brutal head kick and got starched in the first round. However, if Santiago can win here tonight, he’ll get another opportunity at Wirman in the official opening round of the tournament.

I'M LOOKING FOR THE FIGHT, FROM THE START TO END,

I'M LOOKING THROUGH THE LIGHT THROUGH THE GOOD AND MY SINS.

I KNOW I HAVE TO WIN TO BE PRINCE TO A KING

["Young King" by K Huncho blares over the loudspeaker and Lake Reese emerges to the main stage wearing his gray walkout fight kit trimmed in blue with his 9th World crew following behind. Reese looks calm yet focused, making no stops for showboating and continues to make his way down to the cage.]

PATRICK CARSON

Coming out now is a man who has a ton of potential, Lake Reese. “Smooth” is coming in tonight riding a win in his debut fight against Cal McCluskey.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Granted it’s not saying much, Reese did look very impressive in that fight, and he’ll need to carry that same intensity that got him here.

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the Union Grand Prix Cruiserweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Kickboxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 0-2. He stands at 6’ even and weighing in at 210 pounds. He is from Calamba City, Laguna, Philippines, fighting out of the MAXIMUM Dojo, he is “Cold Heart” Chris Santiago!

[Santiago simply nods his head, never losing sight of his opponent.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Muay Thai Boxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 1-0. He stands at 6’ even and weighing in at 220 pounds. He is from Kansas City, Missouri, fighting out of 9th World Performance Institute, he is “Smooth” Lake Reese!

[Reese raises a fist in the air and acknowledges the crowd reaction while sidestepping back and forth to keep warm.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Here we go boys and girls, our second Cruiserweight Qualifier bout of the night. Winner goes into the Grand Prix Tournament to faceoff against Jakko Wirman. Lake Reese certainly has the momentum on his side, and the fans as well. An astonishing 87% of the fans who voted in our Social Media poll believe Lake Reese walks out of here with another win.

PATRICK CARSON

He was quite impressive in his debut fight, now it’s time to stake in to that. Our referee for this fight in Jordan Ripley. He checks off with each man and quickly calls for the bell! It’s on!

=========================================

ROUND ONE

=========================================

[Reese and Santiago move forward as the bell signals the beginning of the fight! Chris and Reese meet in the center of the cage. A vicious middle kick to the ribs that lands hard on Reese's ribs to start things off by Chris. Chris launches a body shot that Reese dodges catching Chris with a hard cross.]

[There is some nice punches thrown from Chris Santiago, but even nicer head movement from Reese. Chris goes for a Step Up High Kick that Reese dodges, countering right into a right hook that grazes Santiago's right cheek. Staying on the attack Reese launches a kick but Chris Santiago avoids it and lands flush with a perfect counter hook SPLASH! that causes Reese's nose to begin to swell immediately. Reese feels it and touches his nose for blood as the crowd pops watching a replay of that blow from Chris. You could hear Chris’s corner saying “Follow that up with another.” but it is Reese who moves forward looking for the action showing some wrestling skills as he put his opponent in a double overhook!]

PATRICK CARSON

These guys didn't waste any time to get after it. Some good back and forth already in this fight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

At this pace these guys are going to be gassed by the second round.

PATRICK CARSON

Lake better watch that nose. It’s still swelling up and that's never a good sign.

[The fighters are in the clinch where Reese is aggressively working before he pushes off of Chris Santiago and starts launching a flurry of hooks and body shots! BANG! BANG! BANG! The crowd jumps up, Santiago stumbling backwards but Smooth chases him and continues the rain of blows! There is a small laceration that appears on Chris’s right eye who's back up against the cage. Reese charge towards Cold Hearted with a flying knee but Chris saw that coming and dodges it with ease. He looks for a kick to Lake’s leg but Lake checks it and instantly clinches with Chris who tries to shrug his way out of the clinch but Reese is determined to work from the clinch. He pummeled through and managed to retain his position. His corner yelling “Way to work Lake.”]

PATRICK CARSON

Lake’s slowed down Chris’s movement with some world class Muay Thai skills.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Yeah, earlier in the round we saw great counter’s and perfect technique from Chris. Since he popped Lake with that shot on the nose Lake has adjusted somewhat.

[The fighters are clinching. Lake Reese postures up and launches another series of punches! A lot of them are hitting Santiago hard as the crowd arises to their feet again. Chris doesn't stagger nor fall instead he’s pent up against the cage. Chris pushes away Reese trying to keep the fight at striking range. Reese doesn't want to break the clinch as he still grappling with Chris. Chris once more tries to shrug his way out of the clinch this time circling out he slips free of Lake Reese's grip. Nice job of getting out of that position and his corner lets him know it. Santiago tries to show his boxing skills with a one-two combo and those punches are landing on Reese's face. “Follow that this time Chris.” and he does this by throwing a low kick but Lake blocks it. Lake  feints a jab but launches a nice uppercut that lands on Santiago's chin. Lake feints the uppercut punch this time but instead grabs a hold of Chris and places him back in the clinch where he pushes Santiago against the cage.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

What’s happening right now Patrick is that Lake’s being more of the aggressor. Keeping the distance close between he and Chris.

PATRICK CARSON

Chris has found that range though. It’s just closing fast on him. If he can find a way to keep it long enough to do what he does best he could finish Lake.

[Both fighters are tied in a clinch but Chris pushes out of it reversing and pushing Lake up against the cage. He wraps up around Lake’s head looking for a knee but Lake blocks it with ease, pushing Chris away and throwing a jab jab left hook combo that Chris just can't get away from. Launching Reese begins grappling with Chris placing him right back in the clinch. Reese punishes Chris’s thighs with a few knees while in the clinch. Those knees are landing! “Get out of there Chris.” Santiago pushes away Reese trying to keep the fight at striking range. Reese doesn't want to break the clinch as he still is grappling with Chris Santiago.]

PATRICK CARSON

Good Knees.

[Both fighters are still tied in a clinch. Chris tries to shrug his way out of the clinch but Reese is determined to work from the clinch. He maintains his position but Chris breaks free and starts to find his distance. He looks for a jab to Lake's chest but Lake times it with a flying knee that hits Chris on the chest and sends him right to the mat.]

PATRICK CARSON

OH!

[Reese is standing while Santiago is on the ground on his back. Reese steps back and allows Santiago to get back to his feet. Santiago climbs to his feet and is standing now where a bunch of leg kicks from Lake are bothering him. Lake leans forwards and tries to grapple with Santiago. Reese shows his clinching skills. Both fighters are clinching now. Santiago pushes away Reese trying to keep the fight at striking range but Lake is still grappling with him. Reese knees Chris in the chest and sends him into the cage. Lake goes with a looping right hand while Chris jumps back and jabs but Lake’s right staggers Chris. Lake runs to capitalize with a bunch of jabs and crosses. Lake and Santiago engage in a wild exchange of punches! Lake is getting the best of the exchange as he lands a few blows. A bone shattering straight right hand from Lake! Santiago is going to have a big headache after that blow! A right hand from Chris Santiago misses its target. Reese tries to get some advantage after his opponent miss move... Reese throws a low kick. He switches targets and lands a superb body kick! But in steps Jordan Ripley to separate the fighters as the buzzer sounds.]

PATRICK CARSON

I would have to give that round to Lake Reese no doubt.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

In what looked like what was going to be a back and forth round, Lake turned it up with his Muay Thai and striking defense.

Chris Santiago’s Corner Notes:

Stay out of that clinch!

Become the aggressor!

You must win this round!

Lake Reese’s Corner Notes:

Go for the kill!

Keep working the clinch!

Protect your nose!

=========================================

ROUND TWO

=========================================

[Reese wants to close the range and tries to grapple. Nice move. He shoves himself over Chris and secures a single collar tie. The fighters are clinching. Chris fakes a few punches and tries a quick knee. Reese blocks it and moves a step back before grappling with Chris. Lake hits Chris with an elbow, left elbow, right elbow and left elbow again!!! Nice combination by Reese, Santiago was surely hurt there.]

PATRICK CARSON

How is he standing after those?!

[Both fighters are tied in a clinch. Reese is launching some bone breaking punches to Santiago's ribs while in the clinch. Wow. You can see the pain in Chris Santiago's eyes. Crushing shot to Santiago's body! He's holding his side. That punishment by Lake Reese has left Santiago staggered! His corner yelling “Finish him.” but Chris manages to grapple with him. Chris fakes a few punches and tries a quick knee. Reese blocks it and move a step back. Reese is trying to counter now! Santiago leads with a jab. Lake Reese avoids it and lands flush with a counter right uppercut! BOOM! Santiago's mouth begins to swell. A Low kick by Lake follows the uppercut to maintain his distance that hits Chris’s ankle. Reese moves forward looking for some action. Lake shows some wrestling skills as he put his opponent in a double overhook!]

PATRICK CARSON

Lake’s clearly dominating Chris right now.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

We heard his corner telling him to stay away from the clinch but he has still yet to find his range.

[Both fighters are tied in a clinch. Lake Reese slightly pushes Santiago into the fence and tries to calm down the action. Jordan Ripley separates the fighters and tells them to continue fighting. Reese jumps over his Chris and aggressively pushes Chris against the fence in a plum position. Chris pushes away Reese trying to keep the fight at striking range. Reese doesn't want to break the clinch as he still is grappling with Chris.]

PATRICK CARSON

Wow man he’s really controlling the action out there.

[Reese takes a break to breathe while holding Chris Santiago. Jordan Ripley separates the fighters and tell them to continue fighting. They meet in the center of the cage showing respect to one another before Chris fakes a move and launches a nice uppercut but Reese blocks it.He made it look easy! Santiago fails here and it's time for Lake Reese to fight back! Reese tries some clinching in order to control the fight. Well done. Reese is clinching with Santiago. Santiago jump forward with his knee rising. Lake saw that coming and moves away from danger.]

PATRICK CARSON

That could've changed this fight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

No doubt about that.

[Both fighters are tied in a clinch. Lake Reese launches a knee while holding Santiago's in a double underhooks. That knee hits Santiago in the abdomen! Chris shows his heart and throws his hands up at Reese. Reese answers with solid punches that sends Chris crashing into the cage behind him. Jordan Ripley looks on watching to see if he wants to step in and he does. He’s seen enough! The fight is over! Santiago was not intelligently defending himself! He has a small cut on his Forehead that happened from the punches.]

PATRICK CARSON

Lake controlled this fight from start to finish and is advancing in the Cruiserweight tournament!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This kid is going to be a problem in this division. He showcased great Muay Thai and defense skills. Give it up for Chris though. He took some solid shots in that fight and was able to stand to the majority of them.

PATRICK CARSON

Most definitely. He showed a lot of heart out there.

[The crowd explodes into cheers as Reese celebrates the big win with his team. Doctors tend to Santiago for a while before finally helping him back up to his feet. After doctors and cutmen finish their work, both fighters meet back to the center of the octagon for the official call.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Jordan Ripley has called for a stop in this fight at 3 minutes 15 seconds in the second round, for your winner by technical knockout, ”Smooth” Lake Reese!

[The crowd continues to cheer as Reese has his hand raised in victory. Both fighters shake hands as a gesture of mutual respect before splitting off to each one’s crew. A graphic pops up on screen, breaking down the statistics of the fight as the commentators recap.]

[Cageside once again to a game Columbus crowd with Toussaint Harper standing by with Zari Aliyah. Toussaint gives Aliyah a smile before pointing at the cage.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

You saw it in there Zari. You know who you are facing and received some front row action. How are you feeling about what you saw and about the competition in general?

[As Toussaint asked the pressing question, Zari placed a hand on the media personality’s shoulder…]

ZARI ALIYAH

You are just fantastic at your job, Harps, people need to start giving you WAY more credit for always trying to draw interest to our fights here in Union. That had to have helped this place grow into what it is now, right?

TOUSSAINT HARPER

I’ve tried for sure. It’s hard to question Harp. I’m just happy to be a part.

ZARI ALIYAH

I feel that.

[Z smiled.]

ZARI ALIYAH

But to answer your question, the fight between Dallas Meechan and Louie Bartolo was...interesting. If I had to say something…anything...to Bartolo, I’d tell em to keep working hard. Don’t let the fact that this fight was a little one sided make you feel like you aren’t worthy of our respect.

[The Antiguan-born combat sports athlete took a brief pause.]

ZARI ALIYAH

Everyone who steps inside the cage, and does it cleanly deserves all of our respect. It takes a lot of inner-energy to be able to put yourself in a situation where another person’s livelihood depends on clocking you in the grill.

[Aliyah took another moment to ponder her next words.]

ZARI ALIYAH

These two fighters were hungry. Annnnd, I could say I’m just as passionate about getting back to the top as I’ve ever been. After hearing that Jordan Parker-Kane’s title shot against my friend and teammate, Hanako, was supposed to go to me, I almost lost all drive for this. That’s a lot to admit to you, Toussaint. I almost walked away after not getting that opportunity. But, the truth is, my Killa mentality wouldn’t let me do that.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

The culture was something I was exposed to for the first time in The Grand interviews. I can see why your mind wouldn’t allow it. The mental part of this life is so underrated and undervalued at times. Does this opportunity in the new Bantamweight division give you even more of a drive to become a first in UGP history?

ZARI ALIYAH

Man, it one hundred percent does. Abso-god dang-lutely, I feel as if I took part in a lot of groundbreaking moments here in Union. I really carved out something special for my big brother Danny, the Killas, and my family to be proud of. What better way to pay them back than to make sure that the first ever Bantamweight Championship belt is sitting right on that wall for future Killas to see?

[Zealous asked Harper.]

ZARI ALIYAH

Reaching the top of this new division is the only way I can pay Danny back for taking a chance on some lanky, weird, unknown girl that otherwise wouldn’t have gotten a second glance from all these other gyms out here. It’s the only way to let him know I appreciate everything he’s done to get me to where I’m at right now.

[Z pauses.]

ZARI ALIYAH

When I first came to Union, they didn’t know how to handle someone like me. Combat sports, wrestling, entertainment ...it's always been filled with people like Misty. I hate to mention her name. Yet, it’s so true, man. They love the trash talker. They love the rambunctious personality. They weren’t used to my type of charisma. I wasn’t the type to be a ‘draw'. Danny's the only person who noticed it before everyone else. This is all for my big brother.

[The young woman explained as her face began to swell up with passion.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

I'm sure you will do your camp and family proud. I'd rather not speak on that other person. You've been a great role model for the MMA community and a benchmark in humanitarian outreach.

FRIDAY NIGHT AND I NEED A FIGHT

MY MOTORCYCLE AND A SWITCHBLADE KNIFE

HANDFUL OF GREASE IN MY HAIR FEELS RIGHT

BUT WHAT I NEED TO GET ME TIGHT ARE THOSE

[“Girls Girls Girls” by Motley Crue blares over the loudspeaker and Jethro Benson emerges to the stage wearing his black and white walkout fight kit with his crew following behind. Benson has a stern, almost blank expression as he appears to be laser-focused on the octagon ahead of him.]

PATRICK CARSON

We kickoff our second Middleweight fight of the night with two fighters making their pro debuts. First up, we got Jethro Benson, a guy who’s been known to be a decent all-round fighter.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He can hold his own in pretty much all phases of the fight game, but he doesn’t have that one trait that really sticks out. It’ll be interesting to see how he does.

YOUR WINDOWS BOARDED UP

YOUR PRIVATE LIVES EXPOSED

THE TALK SHOWS PUMP IT UP

LAB RATS DISEASED FOR SHOW

["13 Steps To Nowhere” by Pantera blares over the PA System and Brendan McCarthy emerges to the main stage wearing his gray walkout fight kit trimmed in orange with his ScrapYard MMA crew following behind. McCarthy has a wide-eyed, almost psychopathic look on his face, and it only grows stronger as he feeds into the roar of the crowd.]

PATRICK CARSON

And now here comes a guy who a lot of us have been waiting to see step inside the cage, Brendan McCarthy. The guy signed in to Union Grand Prix just before the brief hiatus, so you know this guy is hungry!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He is ready to fight, plain and simple, and he wasn’t shy about it either. He continuously called out the infamous Rob Jones, who hilariously backed down from McCarthy. But now the wait is over, let’s see what this madman is all about!

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the Union Grand Prix Middleweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Boxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 0-0. He stands at 5'10" and weighing in at 185 pounds. He is from Detroit, Michigan, fighting out of The Sym Gym, he is “The Bruiser” Jethro Benson!

[Benson raises a fist in the air and he looks like he's feeling the pressure.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Wrestler with a professional mixed martial arts record of 0-0. He stands at 5’11” and weighing in at 185 pounds. He is from Bangor, Northern Ireland, fighting out of ScrapYard MMA, he is Brendan “The Hammer” McCarthy!

[McCarthy is almost shaking at this point with so much adrenaline pumping through his system. He begins punching himself in the chin while the crowd gets riled up.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

It's time to get this fight rolling! McCarthy looks like he’s about to explode with rage! Before we begin let’s take a quick look at our predictions. 71% of the fans who voted in our Social Media poll believe Brendan McCarthy walks out of here with the win.

PATRICK CARSON

I bet that 29% would change their mind after seeing how amped up The Hammer is right now! Our referee for this fight in Roy Rivers. He checks off with each man and quickly calls for the bell! It’s on!

=========================================

ROUND ONE

=========================================

[Brendan McCarthy and Jethro Benson touch gloves in the center to get this fight started! Benson decides to launch some tentative punches and Brendan McCarthy takes the best of a brief punching exchange. McCarthy quickly changes levels and shoots a single leg takedown, bringing Benson down to the mat. McCarthy lands in side mount and quickly moves to better his position on the ground. Once he's secured his position, Brendan viciously drops hammer fists to Benson's face!]

PATRICK CARSON

Brendan McCarthy isn't playing around here! He's looking to end this one early!

[McCarthy continues to pick his spots and rain down hammer fists and Benson's forehead is beginning to swell with a small cut forming. Benson looks a bit foggy already, his movements are not very coordinated now. Benson tries to show some ground skills from the bottom but McCarthy uses his strength to keep his opponent at a disadvantage. Benson fails here and it's time for McCarthy to fight back!]

[McCarthy is looking to end this fight with strikes. He starts to pound away at Jethro Benson, who is barely covering up! Brendan McCarthy continues the brutal ground and pound, and turns out the lights for Benson! Roy Rivers pulls Brendan McCarthy off and Jethro Benson is sawing logs! What an astonishing KO by McCarthy!]

PATRICK CARSON

And it’s all over! Brendan McCarthy barely needed a minute to win it!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Takedown. Ground and Pound. KO. I think McCarthy has put the rest of the division on notice!

[The crowd explodes into cheers as McCarthy races around the octagon, celebrating the big win. Doctors tend to Benson for a while before finally helping him back up to his feet. After doctors and cutmen finish their work, both fighters meet back to the center of the octagon for the official call.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Roy Rivers has called for a stop in this fight at 1minute 10 seconds in the very first round, for your winner by knockout, Brendan “The Hammer” McCarthy!

[The crowd continues to cheer as McCarthy has his hand raised in victory. Both fighters shake hands as a gesture of mutual respect before splitting off to each one’s crew. A graphic pops up on screen, breaking down the statistics of the fight as the commentators recap.]

[With a microphone in hand Bantamweight fighter Tilly-Jean Wade is in the crowd chatting it up with a few people before noticing that the camera was on her.]

TILLY-JEAN WADE

Yooo what's up y'all? Y'all having fun? We’re finally back and after a little break I can say that it does feel good to be back with all the energy floating around here...but I also have some news of my own.

[Tilly looks around.]

TILLY-JEAN WADE

Next week I’ll be debuting “Getting Familiar” where I take you guys behind the everyday hustle it means to be a fighter. From programs to regimes...from coaches to trainers. I think it's about time you get in the know.

[Slight pause as she smiles.]

TILLY-JEAN WADE

But first I’ll be interviewing owner of Union and the guy that signs my checks Dante Reed. After everything that's went on we know you all wanna hear from the man himself so I’m gonna make that happen for you guys.

[Wink.]

TILLY-JEAN WADE

So yeah bruh its a lot of exciting things coming to the union network. I hope you're all is as happy as I am and I’ll be seeing y'all back in the cage soon.

[The camera view cuts to a very hype and ready Jakko Wirman getting with the crowd around him as Toussaint sits beside him. The mic at the ready as its been all night so far.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Jakko. Got to ask you man. How do you feel after what you just saw between Lake Resse and Chris Santiago? Are you ready cause you know what's up next.

[Jakko smiles, his large, infectious grin, and smacks the back of Toussaint in a friendly manner.]

JAKKO WIRMAN

Of course Jakko ready! Lake is a great clinch fighter, he really took it to Santiago, no? But I do not fear any man, no warrior is greater than Jakko!

[Letting out a boisterous laugh, Jakko continues.]

JAKKO WIRMAN

I be ready for Lake when our fight comes, no doubt! Much respect to both fighters put on a great show! Maybe I take Reese to the ground when he tries to hug me! Maybe I kick him in face, I do not know. But I am excited! Ready to do battle, with fine warrior!

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Looking forward to that fight for sure. Thank you for your time Jakko.

TAKEUCHI VS PARKER-KANE III

The Unexpected Trilogy!

[Clips from various fights during the original Lightweight tournament flash across the screen as a voiceover can be heard. The rapid clips stop to play the entire 25 seconds first-round knockout of Hailey McIntyre by Hanako Takeuchi, before switching to a shot of the 2018 tournament brackets.]

"When the original Union Grand Prix tournament brackets were dropped in August 2018, it was clear that the road to the Lightweight Championship went through Hanako Takeuchi. A fact made more evident after her 25-second knockout win in the tournaments first round."

[Switches back to a shot of Hanako Takeuchi celebrating as the Chicago crowd erupts while she celebrates the quick decisive victory.]

"From that moment charismatic Takeuchi, the then IJPW Shoot Crown Champion, became the top of the Lightweight division. As well as two-sport star UGP needed. Her dominant second-round win over Lux Forte, the one fighter in the original tournament that could strike with her, further proved that she was the one to beat ... or so we all thought."

[The young Jordan Parker-Kane is shown on the screen, followed by highlight moments in the JPK vs Lauren Moore fight at UGP 2 in Houston. Referee Jordan Ripley stands between the two fights as the score for the fight are read, and JPK announced the winner by split decision.]

"A young star was developing on the opposite bracket… 19-year-old Jordan Parker-Kane won, what is still one of the closest fights in UGP history in the opening round, before facing off against Annie Zellor in round 2!"

[The round 2 fight between JPK and Zellor plays. In just over a minute Zellor was tapping out as the Daytona crowd roared. The victor's hand was held high by referee, Herschel Warden.]

"The stage was for UGP 4! The budding megastar and the young up and comer to be named the first-ever UGP Lightweight Champion!"

[Images and clips form pre-fight press events shows Hanako calling the young fighter out for not having had to work like others to his spot. That he was gifted opportunities due to his name, pushing the normally reserved fighter to respond just as aggressively.]

"The older and more experienced Takeuchi seemingly relished in getting into the young fighters head as the fight grew near. The world watched on, most expecting yet another Takeuchi knockout!"

[Highlights from the October 27, 2018 fight in Atlantic City. Including the accidental first-round head butt. Hanako's usually deadly strikes were ducked or dodged by JPK, leaving Hanako visibly frustrated. Hanako would slip out of multiple submission attempts by the more technical fighter. He gets her locked into a Kimura lock and cinched it in hard. Hanako refused to tap out. Seeing she was trapped and wanting to prevent a major injury, Jordan Ripley breaks the hold and ends the fight.]

"History had been made as Jordan Parker-Kane pulled the massive upset and claimed the championship for himself."

[Dante Reed is shown putting the belt around the young fighters waist as he smiles, then celebrates in the cage with his team. Things shift back to a pre-fight comment made from Hanako offering JPK shot at her IJPW Shoot Crown Championship if he beat her, then shifted to the post-fight press conference where Hanako confirmed that he had the about if he wanted. Something the new Lightweight Champion would agree to.]

"A rematch was set for January 6th at After Dark! However first…"

[Hanako is shown knocking out Ellis Belrose in the first round at Boss Fight IV, then shifts to JPK' successful title defense against Hailey McIntyre at UGP 5. Shots of Tokyo flood the screen as the After Dark Logo pops up, followed by highlights of the fight.]

"Both fighters took it to one another in brutal fashion. Neither wanting to give an inch in the fight. Parker-Kane focused on the same arm he trapped in the kimura previously."

[Repeated images of JPK putting Hanako in various armbars, followed by an image of Hanako standing, her arm hanging nearly limp.]

"Takeuchi was not outdone, as she did was Takeuchi does. Leaving Parker-Kane bloody."

[Images of Hanako vicious strikes, one of which caused a cut over his eye. This gave Hanako a huge target as jab after jab is shown connecting to the cut, making it bigger and allowing more blood to drip down the challengers face. A knee to the face finally knocks JPK down and out, giving the win to Hanako as the crowd explodes.]

"The series is tied at one fight apiece, and both fighters have to go on their way to other fights…. Just they also go in very different directions."

[Shots of Hanako dominating Jeremiah Ford alternate with the closer fight JPK had with Takeshi Kato, where he would lose the lightweight championship. A second loss to Delaney Donovan. Hanako defeating Kato to claim the Lightweight Championship for herself. JPK losing at SFN 2 and SFN 3. Then Hanako knocking out Delaney.]

"Two careers headed in very opposite directions, until."

[Headlines flash about the cancelation of UGP 12, fighters failing a drug test, multiple releases, and finally the announcement of the 2019 Grand Prix Tournaments! Then the new brackets, and the announcement that champions will take part in the tournament, making the championships on line on each fight the champ has.]

"Needing to make up for canceling a show just days before it was to take place, Dante Reed released a stacked card for Boss Fight XI. In the first fight of the opening round.  Takeuchi vs Parker-Kane 3!"

[A few quick shots of EFC Chapter 1, where Hanako fought Kaelan Laughlin to a split session loss, that was questioned on Twitter. Then the fight JPK had with Cal McCluskey where the lightweight completely dominated the cruiserweight despite over a 60-pound weight difference.]

"Parker-Kane vs Takeuchi is a rivalry that no one in UGP or MMA saw coming, but grown more brutal with each fight. How will the third installment of this trilogy go? Can Parker-Kane continue his quest to redeem 2019? Will Takeuchi continue her dominate streak? It's time to find out!"

BF11_Takeuchi-vs-JPK.png

ARE YOU READY

ARE YOU READY

ARE YOU READY

ARE YOU READY

LET’S GO!

[As “One for the Money” by Escape the Fate plays throughout the arena, Jordan Parker-Kane slowly makes his way out while bouncing to keep warm in his blue and silver walkout fight kit. Just behind him, security guards and his Slaughterhouse Houston crew follow his lead towards the octagon while he tags a few fans’ stretched out hands.]

PATRICK CARSON

Big night here for the first and former Lightweight Champion, Jordan Parker-Kane. He’s got a chance to reclaim the title and become just the second 2-time champion in UGP. However, Jordan has been on a bit of a slump since losing the title to Takeshi Kato at UGP 7.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

After losing the title, he insisted on not pursuing an immediate rematch, a commendable gesture to his opponent tonight. He believed that she earned the right to get the next shot, and instead looked to rebound with a big up and coming challenger, Delaney Donovan. JPK lost that fight via a unanimous decision and Donovan moved on to challenge Hanako for the title. With an unsuccessful attempt by Donovan, and the recent shakeup of releases, JPK moved right back into being the number one contender. The kid just turned 20 yesterday, and what could be a bigger way to celebrate than to win back the Lightweight title?

[As JPK approaches the cage, his demeanor switches to a more serious and focused one, and doesn’t show much emotion as he makes it to cageside and gets checked by the bout official. Once cleared, he marches up the steps and heads straight to his corner, bobbing and weaving along the way.]

DON’T NEED NO FALSE REASONS FOR WHY I’M OUT OF PLACE

I DON’T GOOSE STEP FOR THE MASQUERADE

I DON’T SCREAM AND TWIST JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT

I’VE POISONED BLOOD WHEN I’M PISSED

["Babylonian Gorgon" by The Bags plays throughout the arena. The Black Rose steadily makes her way out onto the main stage and pauses to soak in the aura of the building. She draped in her black fight kit trimmed with gold, and the Union Grand Prix Lightweight Championship strapped around her waist. Soon she begins making her way down to cageside, with several members of Real Killas MMA following in her footsteps.]

PATRICK CARSON

Hanako Takeuchi has been on a tear as of late, not only with MMA, but professional wrestling as well. Currently she holds the DTW World Championship, and has somehow been able to balance the grueling process of being a dual-sport athlete.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Not many can do what she does, and certainly even fewer who could do it as well as she does. She currently competes for UGP, SFN, EFC, and just recently signed to 8CMMA. The future looks bright for her, but tonight her main focus is avenging her only Union loss.

[Hanako strips down to her fight gear and hands off her warmups before getting checked out by the fight official. Once she’s been cleared, she turns to her coaches and gives each one of them a quick hug, then darts up the steps, runs a few laps around the octagon before finally stationing herself in her respective corner.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Co-Main Event of the evening! This bout is scheduled for five rounds and it’s for the Union Grand Prix Lightweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, fighting out of the blue corner, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Artist with a professional mixed martial arts record of 8-6-1. He stands at 5’7” and weighing in at 155 pounds. He is from Houston, Texas, fighting out of Slaughterhouse Houston, he is the former Union Grand Prix Lightweight Champion, “Spidey” Jordan Parker-Kane!

[JPK acknowledges the crowd’s cheers with a salute then reverts back to his fighting stance.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Muay Thai Boxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 9-2. She stands 5’11” and weighing in at 136 pounds. She is from Kamagasaki, Osaka, Japan, fighting out of Real Killas MMA, she is the reigning, defending, undisputed Union Grand Prix Lightweight Champion of the World, “The Black Rose” Hanako Takeuchi!

[Hanako Takeuchi is beating herself up in the corner before the fight begins; smacking herself in the face, body, and legs to get ready for his war.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

We are all set and ready to go for this title fight! The trilogy we’ve been anxiously waiting for. Before we begin, let’s take a look at what the fans are thinking about this matchup. 74% of the fans who took our Social Media poll believes that Hanako Takeuchi will walk out of this one with the title still in hand.

PATRICK CARSON

Everyone loves a redemption story, but let’s look at both of their last fights. Hanako defended the title against Delaney Donovan while JPK lost to Donovan. It’s MMA math that makes no sense! I can't say who will be the one who will be raising their hand after the fight. But we don’t have to speculate any longer as our referee for this contest, Herschel Warden, is ready to get this one started! He checks off with each fighter and calls for the bell! And here we go!

RG_round1.png

[Hanako and JPK move forward as the bell signals the beginning of the fight. JPK launches a kick right out of the gate but Hanako Takeuchi avoids it and lands flush with a counter hook! JPK wants to close the range and tries to grapple. Nice move. He shoves himself over Hanako and secures a single collar tie.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

That hook from Hanako made Jordan want to close the distance early here.

[Their tied up in the clinch and JPK doesn't want to clinch so he ducks under Hanako and tries to move away but the strong Muay Thai skills of Hanako doesn't allow Jordan to break free a jumping knee from Hanako towards JPK’s face hits it, but Jordan braced himself for the impact. The crowd winced at that thunderous knee. JPK has to be more careful now as he still trying to free himself from the clinch but Hanako still has a hold of him. JPK begins to stomp on Hanako's feet. Those hits are more annoying than damaging to Hanako. Hanako doesn't want to clinch as she tries to break the clinch but instead JPK embraces it and keeps Hanako put where JPK punishes Hanako’s thighs with a few knees. Hanako must do something quickly!]

PATRICK CARSON

JPK really driving those knees Hanako man.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He has a good grip in that clinch right now too. Hanako better do something.

[JPK jump forward with his knee crushing Hanako in the face with hard impact. The thud being heard by the commentary table. THUD! The crowd rises while Hanako drops to the mat.]

PATRICK CARSON

OH MY GOD! WHAT A KNEE!

[Hanako quickly shrugs the knee off and gets back to her feet. JPK knowing Hanako’s hurt angles around her throwing a double jab combo that Hanako has scouted. Hanako steps in and throws some combos of her own that miss before the fighters let go their fist and begin missing one another. Hanako aims low with a Calf kick but JPK blocks it with his leg and counters with a jab and over the top right hook, but there is no back down in the champ who sends a one two jab combo of her right back at Jordan. JPK launches a couple of jabs that are answered by Hanako with a stiff cross! The crowd cheering on this back and forth exchange between the champ and JPK.]

PATRICK CARSON

This is give or take right now. Just solid back and forth action already in the Co-Main Event. Wow.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I thought Jordan had Hanako with that knee but she recovered from it greatly.

PATRICK CARSON

Just showing that champion spirit.

[JPK shows some good footwork moving loving for angle to take a shot, but Hanako sees a hole, steps forward and delivers a brutal leg kick that Jordan is unable to check. JPK showing how much that stung with the emotion on his face. Both fighters are looking for angles. Hanako moves forward but JPK moves backwards. That leg kick slowing him down a little bit. Hanako steps in the center of the cage throwing up her hands as the crowd cheers. JPK steps forward and the two begin throwing blows but JPK’s right hook left uppercut combos lands square on Hanako’s chin. Jordan's corner encouraging him to keep striking. “We’ve got her where we want her Spidey.” JPK wraps up with Hanako placing her in a double underhook.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

JPK has Hanako rattled right now.

[Both fighters are in the clinch, both trying to get the dominant position. Hanako tries to break away but Jordan continues to work for positioning. Hanako gets good positioning in the clinch and pushes JPK’s head down and launches a heavy knee to his head in an unorthodox move… JPK easily blocks it and looks for a counter spinning back elbow but Hanako dodges and delivers a stiff high front kick to JPK’s skull causing JPK’s legs to noodle a little bit. Everyone in attendance jumps up in awe after seeing JPK control Hanako for majority of this round.]

PATRICK CARSON

WOOOAHHHH!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

What a kick from Hanako! Out of nowhere!

[Hanako’s corner is screaming at her to follow up but also “Deep Breathes.” Hanako delivers a straight jab right down the middle followed by a looping left hook. JPK reaches out trying to grab a hold of the champ and he does, clinching her up against the cage. Hanako tries recovering her distance but JPK is trying to recover from those shots that almost ended this fight and is not letting that hold go. Hanako reverses JPK on the cage but with no action Herschel Warden breaks up the fighters! A more rejuvenated Hanako delivers a stiff kick to JPK’s left leg, but JPK shrugs it before the fighters throws some combos at each other connecting before the buzzer sounds.]

PATRICK CARSON

That was such an exciting round.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

It had it twists and turns early from the good back and forth, to JPK just taking over the fight but the champ stayed resilient and turned the tide later on in the round… and I think she won the round as well.

PATRICK CARSON

I don't know. If I'm a judge I’m going to slightly give JPK the edge in that round.

Jordan Parker-Kane’s Corner Notes:

Hanako won the round!

Look for takedowns!

Use more leg kicks!

Hanako Takeuchi's Corner Notes:

Keep JPK in the clinch!

Take control of the fight!

JPK won the round!

RG_round2.png

[Hanako comes out with a body kick that gets blocked by JPK. JPK is trying to counter now! Low kick by Jordan Parker-Kane to maintain his distance. Bad move. That was far from landing. Hanako and JPK engage in a wild exchange of punches! Both fighters are missing terribly until JPK grabs Hanakk and tries to grapple. JPKk pushes Hanako against the fence in a plum position. Tied in the clinch. Hanako Takeuchi pushes away JPK trying to keep the fight at striking range. JPK doesn't want to break the clinch as he still is grappling with Hanako Takeuchi. Poorly executed Elbow from Hanako. JPK pushes Hanako trying to find his range now but Hanako insist on staying in the clinch.]

PATRICK CARSON

Hanako wants to do what she does best and that strike from the clinch, but right now JPK is game to that and there isn't much action going on right now.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Yeah, looks like Herschel is about to break this up now.

[Both fighters are tied in a clinch. JPK tries to dirty boxing while holdingHanako against cage. Hanako is unable to defend herself and receives some punches in the rib. Hanako launches some  bone breaking punches to JPK's ribs of her own while in the clinch. Wow. You can see the pain in Jordan Parker-Kane's eyes. Hanako put some flame on those shots, but JPK does his best to eat those licks and delivers a nice one two combo. JPK leaps up for a high knee to the face but instead it ends up being a glancing blow to Hanako's abdomen! Hanako tries to get out of the clinch but she couldn't. She looks for a knee of her own but JPK blocks it before the action comes to a stalemate once again. Herschel Warden separating the fighters and telling them to continue fighting.]

PATRICK CARSON

Right now I think Jordan is winning this round. He’s been controlling Hanako for the most part of it.

[JPK grabs Hanako by the waist, lifts her up and drives her to the mat with a takedown, quickly jumping to the open guard position. Hanako tries getting back to her feet but she isn't able to as JPK keeps her in the open guard. JPK’s corner is telling him to take some shots but Hanako is working to close guard even though she isn't able to once again. One more time she tries to closes guard and this time she succeeds. In the closed guard JPK delivers a couple elbows to Hanako’s chest. The pain showing on Hanako's face.JPK tries to escape from closed guard... JPK struggles to liberate his leg and jumps to half guard!]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Hanako does not want JPK to get the mount here.

[Jordan Parker-Kane pushes Hanako's leg and tries to move to full mount.Nice move by JPK who is in full mount! Hanako is in trouble now. JPK tries to open up Hanako with a few strikes with his right elbow... but Hanako blocks them hip escaping and trying to make her way to her feet by using the cage but JPK pushes Hanako down and prevents her attempts to escape. Hanako tries to move on the ground and escape from the full mount! Jordan Parker-Kane doesn't want to lose his advantageous position and he struggles to maintain the full mount. Herschel steps in to stand up the fighters since there was not much action on the ground. Both fighters continue the fight on their feet. You can hear how the people agree with that decision.]

PATRICK CARSON

Solid work on the ground by Hanako.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Not many people can escape JPK especially when he has you in mount position.

[Jordan Parker-Kane shoots for a double leg takedown! He gets it! Hanako Takeuchi is taken off her feet, but she manages to pull JPK into her guard. JPK uses some of his wrestling skills to escape from the closed guard and after a few tentative escapes, he jumps to side mount! The crowd in venue cheering his crafty ground skills. In the side mount once again JPK has Hanako in a bad position. Her corner knows it and encourages her to work. Through all the instructions coming from both sides JPK precisely places his knees across Hanako placing her back in the full mount. Her corners concern growing even louder. Hanako tries to roll to her side and trap Jordan Parker-Kane in his guard… but JPK keeps good control and remains in full mount. Throwing his leg over and rolling JPK places Hanako in an Armbar and Hanako is struggling to free herself from it. You can see the pain and agony on her face as the crowd looks on awaiting to see if Hanako's going to tap...She’s Fighting…Are we gonna have a new champion? NOPE! Hanako breaks the lock showing some skills right as the buzzer sounds, marking the end of the round.]

PATRICK CARSON

Just wow! I thought Jordan was about to make the champ tap. Man she has balls. Well! Yeah you know what I mean.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

That was most definitely a round for JPK. Once he got the fight to the ground be kept it there...and I’m sure his corner is telling him keep this fight on the mat.

PATRICK CARSON

One punch from Hanako could end this thing though. If she can find a rhythm and eliminate some of JPK’s movement this round could very much be the end of this fight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

One thing is for sure, after that round JPK and his camp is pretty confident right now.

Jordan Parker-Kane’s Corner Notes:

Keep the champ on the mat!

Work your submissions!

She’s rattled!

Hanako Takeuchi’s Corner Notes:

Work the clinch!

Avoid the takedown!

Now or never!

RG_round3.png

[With the start of the third round the champ moves aside and launches a furious low kick! Hard blow to JPK's thigh! That kick is followed up nicely with a bone shattering straight left hand.JPK is going to feel that one after this one is over. Jordan Parker-Kane shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanako sprawls and manages to stay on her feet. She locks up a guillotine with an arm in but JPK brings Hanako down to the ground and pulls his head out getting in a closed guard over Hanako. Jordan Parker-Kane tries to pass Hanako guard...momentarily he did but Hanako regains full guard.]

PATRICK CARSON

Going for that guillotine may have put Hanako in a position she doesn't want to be in.

[JPK  tries to escape from closed guard. He struggles to free his leg and jumps to half guard! Jordan Parker-Kane tries to pass Hanako Takeuchi's guard… he manages to get his leg free and moves to side mount JPK tries to move to full mount but Hanako won't allow him to take this position easily.

Poorly executed transition from JPK allows Hanako to reverse. Deep breaths from the champ who tries a hammer punch to JPK's ribs. JPK blocks those punches, reversing and getting in side mount. Hanako sees an opening and slips JPK into a half guard.Hanako tries to stand up! JPK doesn't allow her.]

PATRICK CARSON

Once again JPK showing how dominant he can be on the mat.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

The champ needs to do something or she could easily go down on the card two to one.

[Hanako has some bruises after a few exchanges with Jordan. Hanako tries to stand up! JPK doesn't allow her too again. Herschel  decides to stand up the fighters since there was not much action on the ground. Both fighters continue the fight on their feet. Jordan Parker-Kane closes the distance with Hanako wanting some action. Jordan Parker-Kane moves forward looking for some grappling action. JPK has Hanako in a text book double collar thai clinch! Hanako Takeuchi tries to shrug her way out of the clinch but JPK is determined to work from the clinch. He pummeled through and managed to retain his position. JPK wants to find his range but Hanako isn't having it. JPK tries to spin out of the clinch. Big mistake from Jordan Parker-Kane! Hanako tries to finish him off with a Rear Naked Choke but is unable to lock that and JPK breaks the lock.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Solid defense from JPK.

[The fighters are clinching. Jordan Parker-Kane tries to stomp on Hanako's feet while in the clinch. Those stomps being an annoyance. JPK takes a break to breathe while holding Hanako Takeuchi. Herschel intervenes to break the clinch. JPK shoots in and grabs ahold of Hanako Takeuchi's left leg... He's trying to take him down. Hanako loses balance and goes to the ground. Jordan Parker-Kane is in side mount over Hanako Takeuchi. JPK tries to open up Hanako with a few strikes with his right elbow...Some nice shots are landing and Hanako is trying to block them with her hands...the ref stepping in to see if he wants to stop it but Hanako is doing a good enough job at defending.]

PATRICK CARSON

Listen to Hanako’s corner just yelling out instructions.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

She better get out of there before this is all over.

[Jordan Parker-Kane is in side mount over Hanako. Hanako attempts to trap JPK in his guard but JPK keeps control and remains in side mount. JPK looks to mount Hanako...he slides his knee across and gets to mount the mount position. JPK grabs his own foot and slides it underneath Hanako's chin in a gogopata attempt! JPK is locking that Gogoplata...OH NO!!! You can see the pain reflected in Hanako's eyes...she struggling to free herself but the willpower in her isn't allowing her to tap. JPK gets the lock even tighter though and Hanako taps...the crowd looking on is shock as Herschel Warden jumps in and breaks the lock!]

PATRICK CARSON

My god. And just like that we have a new Lightweight Champion ladies and gentleman.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

That’s right. JPK has done it again and once again sits atop of the UGP Lightweight division.

PATRICK CARSON

I know the champ is disappointed in herself but she fought a good fight. JPK just had her scouted a little more tonight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

What a win for JPK. He just shook everything up in the division!

[The crowd is stunned with silence as JPK celebrates the big win with his corner. Doctors tend to Hanako for a while before finally helping her back up to her feet. After doctors and cutmen finish their work, both fighters meet back to the center of the octagon for the official call.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Herschel Warden has called for a stop in this fight at 3 minutes 49 seconds in the third round, for your winner by submission, AND NEW Union Grand Prix Lightweight Champion, “Spidey” Jordan Parker-Kane!

[The crowd slowly begin to cheer as JPK has his hand raised in victory and the title wrapped around his waist. Both fighters shake hands as a gesture of mutual respect before splitting off to each one’s crew. The cameras cut to the front row seats where the crowd reacts in seeing UGP Middleweight contender Aries Reed in the full screen. Aries is all smiles with his dreads pulled back as he sits in a navy blue suit with a silk white tie to go along with the black button up shirt underneath. There is a nice little pop for the Atlanta native as he lifts his hand to acknowledge the crowd. Toussaint keeps going as he's seen coming into view to speak with The Silver Tongued Devil.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Aries Reed folks! Give it up! We have the big dawgs in the building! I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't ask at least a couple questions. First off, how do you feel about Union being back?

ARIES REED

It feels great...I've been keeping track and keeping my eye on everything and everyone. I was supposed to get my Middleweight Title shot and thanks to outside forces...it had to be put on hold. But my goal hasn't change...my goal has been diverted, it's always to be the best Middleweight in Union and have the hardware to back it.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

How have you been keeping it together? Saying in shape especially with the time off?

ARIES REED

Slaughterhouse Vegas is my home away from home. Just because I'm not in the cage doesn't mean I'm not working to get better. I'm redefining my game every day...I'm getting stronger, faster, more deadly every single time out. Since coming into Union I've been one of the fastest rising stars in the Division...that ain't no fluke.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

What do you say do the rest of your competition and the division as a whole at this time?

ARIES REED

A high tide raises all ships. Get better. Get stronger. Get faster. Let's make the Middleweight Division THE division in the Union. We are the must-see….we are the draw. Step up or step the fuck off.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Strong words from the Silver tongue. He's challenging his entire division to step it up which only means he will be doing the same. Guilliman. Reed. Chicago. Be Ready.

[Toussaint Harper is holding the earpiece at his ear before his attention is quick to the front. Next to him standing near his front row seat in Navorro Williams and for awhile he isn’t even looking forward at the camera he just stares inside the cage. Toussaint notices the zone Williams is in and keeps his professional nature.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

So we have Navorro Williams here, Vo? What did you think about the--

NAVORRO WILLIAMS

[Toussaint looks at Williams who still hasn’t taken his eyes off the cage.]

BF11_Robinson-vs-Daniels.png

LIGHTS OUT

YOU’RE TALKING TOO LOUD

SO JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH

WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU NOW

[“Lights Out” by Hollywood Undead blares over the loudspeaker and Seth Daniels pops out of the curtain and onto the stage wearing his green and black walkout fight kit with his crew following behind. As Daniels walks down the ramp, his villainous behavior is gone, only showing a stern and focused look.]

PATRICK CARSON

And here we are, the fight we've all been waiting for! This man coming to us now is the only man to take down the current Cruiserweight Champion. Can he do it again and shock the world?

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Daniels is coming into this fight with a big over Jakko Wirman, but Roscoe Robinson is a completely different fighter since their first encounter. Question is, has Daniels done enough in camp to go 2-up on The Shooter?

I WON’T DENY IT, I’M A STRAIGHT RIDAH

YOU DON’T WANNA FUCK WITH ME

GOT THE POLICE BUSTIN' AT ME

BUT THEY CAN’T DO NOTHING TO A G

[The beat of “Ambitionz Az A Ridah” by 2Pac bumps over the PA system as the piano tones can be heard through the bass. A spotlight shines down onto the entrance where “The Shooter” Roscoe Robinson emerges to the main stage, the Union Grand Prix Cruiserweight Championship around his waist. Followed by an entourage of coaches and security guards, Robinson proceeds down the aisle, his eyes focused on the cage, calm in the midst of battle.]

PATRICK CARSON

And now the final walkout of the night… Here comes the Cruiserweight Champion, Roscoe Robinson!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Robinson has quickly become one of the biggest names in MMA, and the man is just scratching the surface in his career. We have talked about the big names he’s taken down, but the one he’s looked forward to most is the one who put the 1 in 7-1.

PATRICK CARSON

Clever. There’s no doubt Roscoe has been looking forward to this, and it’s been almost a year in the making. And now we are just moments away from this monumental rematch!

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Main Event of the evening! The following bout is scheduled for five rounds and it is for the Union Grand Prix Cruiserweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, fighting out of the blue corner, a Kickboxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 3-3. He stands at 6’2” and weighing in at 225 pounds. He is from Phoenix, Arizona, fighting out of Throne MMA, he is “Your Drug of Choice” Seth Daniels!

[Daniels looks calm and confident of his abilities.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Kickboxer with a professional mixed martial arts record of 7-1. He stands 6’1” and weighing in at 215 pounds. He is from Long Beach, California by way of Atlanta, Georgia, fighting out of Real Killas MMA, he is the reigning, defending, undisputed Union Grand Prix Cruiserweight Champion of the World, “The Shooter” Roscoe Robinson!

[Roscoe Robinson raises his fists in his corner as the crowd cheers him on. He seems confident as he bounces in his corner.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This is it, ladies and gentlemen! This is the fight we have all been waiting for! The big question will be answered… Can Seth Daniels take down the rising star and in turn capture the Cruiserweight Title, or will Roscoe Robinson avenge his lonely loss and continue his dominance? There's a lot of energy in the air right now. After seeing JPK become a two time Lightweight Champion there is the thought that we could be seeing another upset. Judging by our Social Media poll, the fans are behind “The Shooter”. 72% of the fans that submitted to the survey believe Roscoe Robinson walks out just like he walked in, Union Grand Prix Cruiserweight Champion!

PATRICK CARSON

The crowd is electric right now, roaring to near deafening volumes! Our referee for this Main Event contest is Herschel Warden. He checks off with each man one last time and calls for the bell..

And HERE. WE. GO!

RG_round1.png

[Robinson and Daniels move forward as the bell signals the beginning of the fight! A lightning fast low kick from Robinson that gets checked by Daniels with his leg. The champ aims for a jab followed by another leg kick but Daniels gets out of the way from it, throwing back a Jab that Robinson dodges. Trying to find his angles as he throws a few jabs Roscoe is weaved by Seth once again who times a right hook that lands square on Robinson's ear. He follows with a jab and looping right hook that both connect. The champ instantly regains some of his balance and quickly takes some steps back to reset.]

PATRICK CARSON

Seth with the hands.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Yeah, the champ felt those and heard his corner who was telling him not to engage.

[Seth feints to the right but devastates Roscoe with a left kick to the liver. “EWWWWWW” Roscoe almost drops to a knee from that impact. Not letting up though Seth goes for a leg kick but it gets checked by the champ. The fighters start circling the cage before Seth moves forward with the action. Low kick, checked by Roscoe who squares Seth up... FLAP! Roscoe delivers his own kick to Seth’s rib. The pain showing on his face. Trying to find their range the fighters begin angling. Not for long as they bring the crowd to their feet with a flurry of blows. Two piece from Robinson. Two piece with a tea from Seth. One lucky shot could end this thing folks!]

PATRICK CARSON

Look at Dante over there. He’s loving this action.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

So is this crowd. These two aren't holding back at all.

PATRICK CARSON

OH! ARE WE ABOUT TO HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!

[Seth rocks Roscoe with an uppercut that sends him flying back into the cage. POP POP! Nice jab combo from Seth but Roscoe doesn't drop. Instead he shows that champion spirit and engages with a leg kick that Seth isn't able to check slowing him down. Seth shoots in for the takedown but Roscoe scrambles staying on his feet. He bangs Seth with a left hook to the ribs. Seth steps backward but right into a brutal right high kick to the chin that instantly causes a cut. The impact heard all the way in the back row. Dazed, Seth doesn't drop though showing a granite chin… But Roscoe connects with another precise High Kick that knocks Seth unconscious as his limp body falls to the mat. He steps in to give Seth a few more shots bit Hershel pushes him away before anymore damage can occur.]

Doctors tend to Daniels for a while before finally helping him back up to his feet. After doctors and cutmen finish their work, both fighters meet back to the center of the octagon for the official call.]
