OCEAN CENTER

DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA

OCTOBER 13, 2018

[After the opening intro video finishes up, we fade into the Ocean Center in Dayton Beach, Florida which is packed with 8,582 fans in attendance. The crowd is on their feet cheering in anticipation for the night’s bouts. Camera angles pan around from one point to another, catching fans, athletes, and celebrities in attendance. We then transition to meet Dante Reed and Warhead Williams standing cageside.]

DANTE REED
Welcome ladies and gentlemen, we are live on the Battleground Network at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida and this is UGP #3! I am Dante Reed and alongside me is MMA icon Warren "Warhead" Williams! Tonight is a big night as we showcase four tournament semifinal bouts and also push forward into two weight divisions' round robins.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS
Dante we've seen some crazy finishes in the four events we've held, and I don't expect tonight to any different. As you said, so much is at stake with every match. We all want to know who moves on to the championship finals?

DANTE REED

It's the burning question we all want to know and came here to find out. Our opening bout is a Light Heavyweight Round Robin bout between Simon Bishop and Aeron Roberts. The Demon Queen was able to score her first victory over Kira Izumi at Boss Fight #1 and continues hanging on by a thread. StrangLA, on the other hand, fell victim to a big strike to Jeremiah Ford after leading the points in the final minutes of the fight. This is do or die time for Roberts as this is her last bout in the series, and for Bishop a win here keeps him in the race for the championship.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS
Then we have our first Cruiserweight semifinals fight between Jordan Parker-Kane and Annie Zellor. Both of these fighters had impressive debut victories to make it here tonight, but now is not the time to get complacent. Zellor hasn't been subtle about having the chance to potentially face her long time friend Lux Forte in the finals, but she's going to have to get through JPK first. Jordan earned Fight of the Night honors in his contest against Lauren Moore. He's gonna need to keep that same tenacity here against Zellor.

DANTE REED

After that we have our first of two Heavyweight fights with Donnie Calabrese and Ferdinand Diao. It's hard to say whether or not Donnie has a chance left in this round robin, as he's currently sitting at 0-2. However, he can at least still play spoiler to Diao which we all know misery loves company!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

And then right after that we'll have our second Heavyweight fight between Derrick La'Bell and Shotgun Koa. La'Bell has pretty much locked it up after starting his UGP career at 2-0, but you can never be too sure. Koa needs to win here and get help to work his way into the Heavyweight title fight.

DANTE REED

After that we have a match that has been highly talked about for a few weeks. 2-0 Cristian Bonanno takes on 2-0 Jeremiah Ford. This is a big fight tonight and some have called it a "championship preview". Whoever wins this one is essentially a lock for the Light Heavyweight title fight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

And then our final Cruiserweight semifinals fight is between Lux Forte and Hanako Takeuchi. As we just spoke about, Forte has clambered about the idea of facing her loyal friend Annie Zellor for the title, but she knows she cannot overlook Hanako. The Black Rose put this whole division on notice when she KO'ed Hailey McIntyre in under thirty seconds. Big question coming out of this one is whether or not Hanako is at full health, given her tenures in DTW, IJPW, and several others places. She's been hard at it this summer and it may play after tonight.

DANTE REED

And then our Headline fight is the first Junior Heavyweight semifinals bout between Roscoe Robinson and Seth Daniels. It's been a bit odd with the media blitz leading up to tonight as we haven't heard much from Daniels. The usually outspoken trash talker has been pretty much silent on all platforms, you have to wonder what's going through his head? For Roscoe though, this is a big opportunity for the young prospect. He's grabbed plenty of headlines on social media, but now he needs to back it up in the octagon.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

And finally, our Main Event of the evening is our second Junior Heavyweight semifinals bout between Daniel Fisk and Nathan Lucas. Both of these guys advanced to here tonight on some stunning early KO victories. These two are sure to put on a show and they both have a lot riding on scoring the 'W' tonight.

DANTE REED

And that's what we got lined up for you all tonight. So without further ado, let's kickoff UGP #3!

ON TO BATTLE

HERE WE ARE THE HUNTERS

RED AS FIRE

CRIMSON BOW AND ARROW

["Crimson Bow And Arrow" by Epica blasts over the loudspeaker and “Roberts” Aeron Roberts emerges to the stage wearing her ice blue and white walkout fight kit with crew members from her camp following behind. Roberts burrows her head down while slowly walking down the ramp. She makes it to cageside where she is checked up on by the fight official. Once cleared, she climbs up the steps and calmly takes her place in her corner.]

DANTE REED

Aeron Roberts is coming off her first victory in this Light Heavyweight Round Robin and now is the time for her to rally. No doubt she needs to win here tonight to stay alive.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

A loss here and I think it’s over. She looks determined and her confidence has to be at an all-time high in UGP after defeating Kira Izumi.

NIGGA WE DOING THIS SHIT FROM CLEVELAND TO LA

NIGGA WHATEVER YOU NIGGAS WANT, WE BRINGIN IT

THUG LUV, NIGGA. WHAT TIME IS IT

YO, I DON’T GIVE A FUCK WHERE YOU LAY AT

NIGGA, IT’S TIME TO SLAY THESE BITCH-MADE NIGGAS!

[“Thug Luv (feat. 2Pac)” by Bone Thugs N Harmony begins thumping throughout the arena. "StrangLA” Simon Bishop slowly makes his way out while bouncing to keep warm in his all red walkout fight kit. Just behind him, guards and his corner crew follow his lead towards the octagon. Bishop doesn’t show much emotion as he makes it to cageside and gets checked by the bout official. Once cleared, he jogs up the steps and heads straight to his corner, shadow boxing along the way.]

DANTE REED

Simon Bishop on the other hand, is coming in tonight after a tough loss to Jeremiah Ford at Boss Fight #1. In that fight, he was controlling the pace and was primed to win. However, Ford caught him with a nasty strike and stole that one.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Bishop cannot harp on the past and just focus on the present so the future can look bright. I think I read that on a bathroom stall somewhere…

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, we are live exclusively on the Battleground Network here at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida for UGP #3! And now, this opening fight is scheduled for three rounds in the UGP Light Heavyweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a wrestler with a record of 1-2. She stands at 5’9” and weighing in at 178 pounds. She is from Wrexham, Wales, she is “The Demon Queen" Aeron Roberts!

[Aeron Roberts looks calm but knows she has a tough fight coming up. She steps out from the corner and raises a fist in the air before going back to bouncing in place.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, disciplined in BJJ, Muay Thai, and Boxing with a record of 1-1. He stands 6’ even and weighing in at 185 pounds. From Los Angeles, California, fighting out of Real Killas MMA, he is “StrangLA” Simon Bishop!

[Bishop steps out from his corner and raises both arms in the air as the crowd cheers him on. Simon looks a bit uneasy, hopefully this doesn't affect his performance.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

It’s crunch time here and now! Winner stays afloat while the loser is all but done. 83% of the fans that took our social media poll believe that Simon Bishop walks out victorious.

DANTE REED

And I think a majority of them are here tonight! This crowd is fully behind him! The referee for this opening contest is Jordan Ripley and he’s calling for the fight, and here we go!

DANTE REED

Close opening round here where it seemed like the two were feeling each other out.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This round is clearly for Aeron Roberts in my book. She orchestrated more offensive takedowns and submissions and kept Bishop at bay.

=========================================

Another close round, but I think I would be surprised if the judges didn't see that round for Bishop.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I Agree. Both of these fighters look evenly matched on the ground and haven’t been able to execute much. To me, if someone wants to win this one, they’re gonna have to do it standing up.

Interesting final round there. This one goes to the judges.

[After both fighters compose themselves in there corners for a few moments, they head back towards the middle of the octagon for the final decision.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the result of this fight come to a judge’s decision. The judges have scored it 29-28 Roberts, 29-28 Bishop, and 30-27 for the winner by split decision, “StrangLA” Simon Bishop!

DANTE REED

Simon Bishop scores the victory in this close fight. To me I think the judges saw him striking more often and initiating some action. A win’s a win, no doubt, but he needs to improve on this performance.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Yeah I’d have to agree with you there. To me this one could have been scored for either one and I don’t think I would have disagreed. Bishop moves to 2-1 though, and right now that’s all that matters.

HERE COMES THE

HERE COMES THE

HERE COMES THE

Y’ALL DON’T REALLY WANT IT NOW

BOOM!

["Here Comes The Boom" by Nelly bumps over the loudspeaker and Annie Zellor emerges to the stage wearing her pink and black walkout fight kit with crew members from her camp following behind. Zellor has a calm but stern look on her face as she slowly prowls down the aisle. She makes it to cageside where she is checked up by the fight official. Once she’s cleared, she races up the steps and jogs around the cage a couple times before staying put in her corner.]

DANTE REED

Annie Zellor is coming off an impressive debut victory over Kenzi Grey at UGP #2 with a decisive unanimous decision to the fellow MMA newcomer. Her opponent tonight though has some experience in the sport though, so it’ll be interesting to see how she handles it.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Zellor definitely showed a lot of grit in her debut, but you’re right, JPK has prior experience in MMA and even currently competes in other promotions as well. Zellor just needs to stick to her strategy that got her that debut win, utilizing her strengths and keep Parker-Kane in striking range.

ARE YOU READY

ARE YOU READY

ARE YOU READY

ARE YOU READY

LET’S GO!

[As “One for the Money” by Escape the Fate plays throughout the arena, Jordan Parker-Kane slowly makes his way out while bouncing to keep warm in his blue and silver walkout fight kit. Just behind him, security guards and his corner crew follow her lead towards the octagon. JPK doesn’t show much emotion as he makes it to cageside and gets checked by the bout official. Once cleared, he marches up the steps and heads straight to his corner, bobbing and weaving along the way.]

DANTE REED

The same can be said about Jordan Parker-Kane’s UGP debut, as he went through a three round war with Lauren Moore and earned a split decision victory. Moore has more experience than Zellor, which can be a benefit and  detriment for Parker-Kane tonight. He was able to study up on Moore and develop a game plan to her fighting style, with Zellor tonight though, she’s only had one fight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

But it was a three round battle and I’m sure he saw a lot things out of that that he could take away. His key to victory is to avoid those deadly strikes from Zellor while trying to control the pace and tempo of the fight. He’s a solid ground fighter, so if he can manage to get Annie to the mat, I think he’ll thrive off of it.

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the UGP Cruiserweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Kickboxer and disciplined BJJ artist with a record of 1-0. She stands at 5’4” and weighing in at 125 pounds. She is from Staten Island, New York, fighting out of Throne MMA, she is “Kickass” Annie Zellor!

[Annie Zellor keeps her head lowered down while controlling her breathing. She raises a fist in the air to acknowledge the crowd’s reaction while staying focused.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And her opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Muay Thai Kickboxer disciplined in BBJ with a record of 1-0. He stands 5’7” and weighing in at 155 pounds. From Houston, Texas, fighting out of Slaughterhouse Houston, he is “Spidey” Jordan Parker-Kane!

[JPK steps out from his corner and raises both arms in the air while anxiously pacing back and forth.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

The crowd here in Daytona Beach sounds to be decisively behind Zellor. However, 56% of the fans that took our social media poll believe that Jordan Parker-Kane walks out victorious and on to the Championship final.

DANTE REED

It’s evident that this is sure to be a great evenly matched fight. The referee for this bout is Herschel Warden. He checks off with each competitor one last time, calls for the fight, and this one is underway!

=========================================

ROUND ONE

[Parker-Kane is in good position and is looking to change levels for the takedown. Spidey catches an ankle and Zellor is tripped to the mat! Parker-Kane is in closed guard over Annie and looks to posture up and open Zellor's guard. Jordan forces Annie Zellor to open her guard.]

[Spidey moves on the ground and quickly shifts to side mount. Annie tries to turn into her opponent and struggles to break free. JPK seizes an opening and wraps Annie up in a Twister Neck Crank! That submission from Parker-Kane appears to be unbreakable! Punishing hold! Spidey secures the lock while Annie Zellor refuses to tap. The crowd is in an uproar as Jordan continues to crank back, and finally Zellor has no choice but to tap! Herschel Warden jumps in and breaks the lock!]

DANTE REED

Unbelievable! Jordan Parker-Kane scores an early submission victory and he moves on to the finals!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He did exactly what he wanted, Dante. He executed a perfectly timed ankle pick to take it to the ground and suffocated Zellor and locked in that neck crank. Crazy finish here!

[The crowd is roaring with excitement as Jordan celebrates his victory. Doctors tend to Zellor for a moment before helping her back up to her feet. After doctors finish their work, the two fighters meet in the middle of the octagon for the official call.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Herschel Warden has called for a stop in this fight at 1 minute 8 seconds of the very first round for your winner by submission, “Spidey” Jordan Parker-Kane!

[After JPK has his hand raised in victory, both fighters embracing with a handshake and say a few words to each other before splitting off to each one’s crew. DANTE REED

Impressive performance here by Jordan Parker-Kane, and this guy has to be thrilled to be moving on for a shot at the Cruiserweight Championship.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Jordan now has the fastest submission finish so far in this company’s early existence, and it definitely got the crowd on their feet. Annie has to be disappointed in how things went down, but I’m sure she’ll bounce back from this loss and use it as a lesson to learn.

YOUR REIGN ON THE TOP WAS SHORT LIKE LEPRECHAUNS

AS I CRUSH SO-CALLED WILLIES, THUGS, AND RAPPER-DONS

GET IN THAT ASS, QUICK FAST, LIKE RAMADAN

IT’S THAT RAP PHENOMENON DON-DADDA

["Kick in the Door" by Notorious B.I.G. thumps over the loudspeaker and “The Lion” Ferdinand Diao emerges to the stage wearing his gold and white walkout fight kit with crew members from his camp following behind. Diao burrows his head down while slowly creeping down the aisle. He makes it to cageside where he is checked up on by the fight official. Once cleared, he climbs up the steps and calmly takes his place in his corner.]

DANTE REED

Ferdinand Diao is coming off a big win against Shotgun Koa at UGP #2. He was the betting underdog in that fight, but he never no doubts with a first round KO. He’s still in the hunt for a championship opportunity, and if he wins here, it’ll definitely help his chances.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I feel like this is a win and you’re in situation for Diao. If he can score the victory, I think he’ll get the edge over Koa even if Shotgun were to win tonight. But right now he can’t worry about all of that noise, just gotta go out there and do your thing!

I DON’T TALK I LEAD BY EXAMPLE

PUNCH HIM DOWN WHEN HE FALL GET TRAMPLED

I’M A BANDO COMMANDO SLASH RAMBO SLASH

WILL GET ON YOUR ASS FOR A BAG THOUGH

[“Bando Commando” by Yavid plays throughout the arena and the crowd is on their feet. After a moment, Chicago’s own “Dog Face” Donnie Calabrese enters the building and the fans are going wild! Calabrese calmly walks down the ramp with a swagger that’s infectious. He doesn’t show much emotion, just bobbing his head to the beat of his music as he makes it to cageside and gets checked by the bout official. Once cleared, he climbs up the steps and heads straight to his corner, flexing for the cameras along the way.]

DANTE REED

It’s been a rough start to this Heavyweight Round Robin series for this young prospect, but it hasn’t deterred him a bit. He still comes out focused and ready to go to war, and no doubt these big men have brought the heavy artillery with each bout.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Heavy artillery is an understatement, these guys have brought on the weapons of mass destruction! Not a single Heavyweight fight has made it out of the first round, all ending in knockouts. But one thing I can say about Calabrese, is that he’s still in this thing, anything can happen. But I’d be lying if I said he didn’t have an uphill battle ahead of him.

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the UGP Heavyweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a wrestler and striker with a record of 1-1. He stands at 6’3” and weighing in at 262 pounds. He is from Dakar, Senegal fighting out of Team Brutal, he is “The Lion” Ferdinand Diao!

[Diao steps out from the corner and raises a fist in the air while side shifting back and forth before stepping back into his corner.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Boxer and Catch Wrestler with a record of 0-2. He stands 6’1” and weighing in at 265 pounds. From Chicago, Illinois fighting out of Real Killas MMA, he is “Dog Face” Donnie Calabrese!

[Donnie keeps his head lowered down while he focuses on his breathing. He knows he can not fail this night.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This is it, it’s do or die time! Diao has everything on the line and Donnie has nothing to lose! 62% of the fans that took our social media poll believe that Donnie Calabrese walks out with the win tonight.

DANTE REED

If he scores the victory, it’ll surely shake things up for this division! And now, both fighters look eager to get this one started! The referee for this bout is Dusty Whittaker and he’s calling for the fight! And here we go!

=========================================

ROUND ONE

=========================================

[The Lion and Dog Face move forward as the bell signals the beginning of the fight! Calabrese's mind is definitely in the fight, The Lion just got nailed! Donnie saw an opening and delivered a big right hand. Donnie goes with a looping right hand while Diao jumps back and jabs. Dog Face Donnie seems staggered and Diao runs to capitalize with a bunch of jabs and crosses.]

[Donnie Calabrese attempts a sweep single but Diao was ready and shrugs off the takedown attempt. Donnie pops back up and several good body shots land on The Lion. Ferdinand tries to grapple and get Donnie in a double underhook! Both fighters are now tied in a clinch. Donnie Calabrese tries a foot sweep takedown on Ferdinand, but fails to take him down and both fighter are still standing.]

[Diao chases Donnie and launches a few perfect strikes! Here we go! Calabrese steps backwards when those punches connect with his face, revealing a small laceration on his right cheek. Ferdinand moves forward looking for a hole in his opponent's defense. Diao's mind is definitely in the fight, Dog Face Donnie just got nailed! Ferdinand Diao saw an opening and delivered a big right hand! Dog Face crumples to the mat and The Lion moves in to finish him! The referee jumps in and stops the fight!]

DANTE REED

That’s it! It’s all over! Ferdinand Diao continues the trend and finishes this one off with a first round knockout!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This is unbelievable, Dante! We’ve had eleven heavyweight fights up to this point, and we’ve had eleven first round knockouts! Listen to this crowd, they’re going crazy!

[The crowd is roaring with excitement as Diao celebrates his victory. Doctors tend to Calabrese for a moment before helping him back up to his feet. After doctors finish their work, the two fighters meet in the middle of the octagon for the official call.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Dusty Whittaker has called for a stop in this fight at 1 minute 33 seconds of the very first round for your winner by knockout, “The Lion” Ferdinand Diao!

[After Diao has his hand raised in victory, both fighters embrace with a Fist bump and say a few words to each other before splitting off to each one’s crew. Calabrese looks visibly disappointed while being surrounded by his corner while a graphic pops up on screen, breaking down the statistics of the fight as the commentators recap.]

DANTE REED

It’s been much of the same here for the heavyweights, and unfortunately for Donnie Calabrese as well. You gotta wonder where he goes from here.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Look, the guy is still very young and has been in some stiff competition during this round robin. I think he needs to regroup, refocus, and retool his arsenal and jump back into the fire. Donnie may be down, but he’s not out. But on the other side, big congrats to “The Lion” Ferdinand Diao, who may have just literally punched his ticket to a Championship fight!

ONE FINGER AND A FIST

I’LL CLAW MY WAY OUT OF ANY SITUATION

I GOT A ONE, TWO PUNCH

I’LL FIGHT MY WAY OUT OF ANY CONFRONTATION

[One Finger and a Fist by Drowning Pool blasts over the loudspeaker and Shotgun Koa emerges to the stage wearing his blue and red walkout fight kit with crew members from his camp following behind. Koa has a stone cold stare in his eyes as he makes his way down the ramp. He makes it to cageside where he is checked up on by the fight official. Once cleared, he climbs up the steps and calmly takes his place in his corner.]

DANTE REED

Well we’ve seen the result of Diao and Calabrese, question is did Koa watch? As seasoned as he is, you have to wonder if that’s playing in the back of his mind right now. With Diao scoring the victory and moving to 2-1 with one of those wins being against Koa, you have to have doubts that he holds a chance for a title shot, even with a victory here.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

To be honest, I don’t how that would play out. Yes Koa lost to Diao, but if he gets the win over La’Bell, he’ll have beaten the guy that beat Diao! All of that rankings fine print is above my pay grade, all Koa can focus on right now is winning.

HOLD UP, SON, WORD

YEAH, TO ALL THE KILLERS AND A HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLAS

FOR REAL NIGGAS WHO AIN’T GOT NO FEELINGS

CHECK IT OUT NOW

[“Shook Ones Part II” by Mobb Deep plays throughout the arena. “Long Island Strong” Derrick La’Bell slowly makes his way out while bouncing to keep warm in his black and white walkout fight kit. Just behind him, guards and his corner follow his lead towards the octagon. La’Bell doesn’t show much emotion as he makes it to cageside and gets checked by the bout official. Once cleared, he stomps up the steps and heads straight to his corner, shadow boxing along the way.]

DANTE REED

Now we talked about whether or not Koa stands a chance at that title shot, La’Bell seemingly is on the opposite end. You would think after two impressive opening round knockout victories that he’s a lock for the title fight, but again it’s all speculation until the fights are over and the rankings are official.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Nevertheless, Derrick has looked phenomenal in his first two fights in UGP, so I’d imagine he’s confident in himself that he’s the favorite to win tonight and the whole series. All he needs to do is stick to the formula that’s got him to this point and he’ll be in good hands.

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the UGP Heavyweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a striker with a record of 1-1. He stands at 5’10” and weighing in at 265 pounds. He is from Asau, Samoa fighting out of Perth, Australia, he is “Shotgun” Sakaria Koa!

[Koa steps out from the corner and raises a fist in the air before going back to bouncing in place.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, disciplined in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing with a record of 2-0. He stands 6’ even and weighing in at 265 pounds. From Uniondale, Long Island, New York fighting out of Slaughterhouse New York, he is “Long Island Strong” Derrick La’Bell!

[La’Bell steps out from his corner and raises both arms in the air as the crowd cheers him on. Derrick looks at the ground while he does his calming exercises. He knows he can not fail this night.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Listen to the crowd here right now, they are fully behind La’Bell and so are our fans at home! 65% of the fans that took our social media poll believe that Derrick La’Bell walks out with the win tonight.

DANTE REED

He’s definitely the favored fighter but we’ve seen enough craziness in this division to know not to put too much stock in it. Alright ladies and gentlemen, the referee for this bout is Jordan Ripley and he’s calling for the fight! And here we go!

=========================================

ROUND ONE

=========================================

[The bell announces the first round and both big men come charging in with a purpose! The two exchange wildly, both landing but without much steam behind the shots. Shotgun backs off, looking for angles as he throws a few jabs that are then countered by Derrick La'Bell's punches. Shotgun measures the resilience of La’Bell's chin with an uppercut while Derrick lands some great crosses. La’Bell backs off and reveals a small cut on his chin.]

[La’Bell wants to close the range and tries to grapple. Nice move. He shoves himself over his opponent and secures a single collar tie. Shotgun pushes off of La'Bell and starts launching a flurry of hooks and body shots! La’Bell stumbles backwards but Koa chases him and continues the rain of blows! La'Bell tries a foot sweep takedown on Koa and he falls hard on the mat.]

[La’Bell is standing while Shotgun is on the ground on his back. La'Bell decides to jump inside Shotgun's guard. Shotgun didn't see that coming. La’Bell is in open guard over Shotgun now and tries to pass to half guard. Koa can't prevent his opponent from passing. La'Bell is in half guard and tries to free his leg. Derrick uses some of his skill by jumping out of Shotgun's guard. He moves quickly to full mount!]

[Both fighters jockey for position, and La'Bell moves to side mount. Koa launches a few punches to La’Bell’s cheek from the guard. Those punches sure are annoying because La’Bell tries to cover his face. La’Bell grows frustrated and fires back and launches a barrage of elbows over Shotgun's face! Those elbows may finish the fight soon if Shotgun doesn't fight back! La'Bell turns out the lights for Shotgun!]

DANTE REED

It’s all over! What an astonishing KO by "Long Island Strong" Derrick La’Bell!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Derrick La’Bell pulls off the hat trick in this round robin series! 3-0 and onto the Championship match! This man is on a tear!

[The crowd explodes with excitement as La’Bell celebrates his victory. Doctors tend to Koa for a moment before helping him back up to his feet. After doctors and cutmen finish their work, the two fighters meet in the middle of the octagon for the official call.]

DANTE REED

So now we know who will be stepping in and fighting for the Heavyweight Championship at UGP #4. It’ll be the dominating Derrick La’Bell taking in a vengeful Ferdinand Diao! A rematch that Diao is surely looking forward too!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I’m sure every Heavyweight that has a loss in this round robin wants rematches, but this one is for the ages! Two powerful and imposing forces will face off once again, this time with Championship gold at stake! I cannot wait to see this one!

THIS IS THE YEAR WHERE HOPE FAILS YOU

[“Pulse of the Maggots” by Slipknot blasts over the loudspeaker and Jeremiah Ford emerges to the stage wearing his black and yellow walkout fight kit with crew members from her camp following behind. Hailey has a scowling fierce look on her face as she slowly prowls down the aisle. She makes it to cageside where she is checked up by the fight official. Once she’s cleared, she races up the steps and jogs around the cage a couple times before staying out in her corner.]

DANTE REED

Jeremiah Ford has been making some waves here in this Light Heavyweight Round Robin. After taking his “bye” at UGP #1, he has since gone 2-0 beating the likes of Aeron Roberts and Simon Bishop. He’s stayed relatively quiet for the time being, but at a certain point, the noise is gonna follow you when you produce results like Ford has.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

There were some criticisms of Ford’s split decision victory over Aeron Roberts, but he beat her at her own game. Sure he probably should have kept the fight standing, but it proved his ground game is among the best. Then he goes three rounds with Simon Bishop, getting worked over. But he stayed persistent and finished the fight by a KO. I think this guy can work well on many levels, now it’s time to put it to the test to the other undefeated fighter.

WHEN THE LINE FROZE, WHAT DID I SEE

A BAD MOTHERFUCKER STANDING NEXT TO ME

WITH HIS EYES CLOSE, TOLD HE CAN’T SEE

TRYNA FOLLOWS ORDERS, JUST GONE AND BE FREE

[As the opening guitar riff to "Bad Motherfucker" by Machine Gun Kelly rips over the speakers, Cristian Bonanno walks towards the ring with purpose blowing by extended hands reaching out for high fives. Dressed in his black and red walkout fight kit, he matches down to cageside with his corner crew behind. Once he makes it to the cage, the referee checks him to ensure he is fit to fight. Once he’s cleared, Bonanno races up the steps and shadow boxes while he heads to his corner.]

DANTE REED

And now here is quite possibly the favorite to win this whole round robin, Throne MMA ambassador Cristian Bonanno. Bonanno has been an absolute nightmare with everyone that has stepped in the octagon with him, having just over three minutes of fight time.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Yeah both of his wins were by knockout, and they were scary strong elbow and punches. Bonanno is a great wrestler who can control the direction of the fight, and obviously has cinder blocks for hands.

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the UGP Light Heavyweight Division. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner, a Wrestler with a record of 2-0. He stands at 5’7” and weighing in at 180 pounds. He is from Oskaloosa, Iowa, he is Jeremiah “Bullfrog” Ford!

[Jeremiah Ford stays put in his corner. He looks calm but knows he has a tough fight coming up.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a wrestler with a record of 1-0. He stands 6’1” and weighing in at 185 pounds. From Brooklyn, New York fighting out of Throne MMA, he is Cristian “Uccisore” Bonanno!

[Cristian Bonanno looks at the ground while he does his calming exercises. He knows he can not fail this night.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Listen to the crowd here right now, they are split between these two! Two unbeaten warriors looking to prove a point and our fans at home agree. It was an even 50-50 split from the fans that took our social media poll.

DANTE REED

This has been a highly anticipated fight, probably the one I have been most looking forward two! And now it’s time to get things started, the referee of the bout is Dusty Whittaker. He checks off with each fighter one last time and calls for the fight! And here we go!

The fight resumes with both fighters standing.]

[You can hear how the people agree with that decision with a unanimous applause. Cristian Bonanno tries to show his boxing skills with a one-two combo and those punches are landing on Ford's face. Ford shoots in on Bonanno's right leg and tries to take him down. Bonanno shows great balance while pushing away Ford. Bonanno is trying to counter now! Incredible haymaker from Cristian Bonanno! DANTE REED

This opening round is over, and Jeremiah Ford somehow survives. That was all Bonanno that round.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Bonanno is confidently walking back to his corner, he knows he took Jeremiah Ford to school with that round.

=========================================

ROUND TWO

Ford gets his hips free and moves to half guard. Cristian Bonanno launches a few punches to Ford's cheek from the guard.]

DANTE REED

Jeremiah Ford needs to keep the fight standing, he’s eating way too many punches and he's getting gashed in the points.

DANTE REED

That one wasn’t even competitive. Cristian Bonanno is having his way with Ford.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Bonanno looks way to overpowering for Ford to get anything done on the ground. His best bet at this point is to just stand up and bang and hope one lands clean! Otherwise, this is a no brainer for Bonanno.

DANTE REED

A big congrats to Cristian Bonanno who continues to dominate his competition! The people here at the Ocean Center will not regret paying for this ticket. Bonanno's awesome performance was worth the money. I don’t think there is much doubt that Bonanno goes into the championship match with just one fight left.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Yeah, win or lose when he faces off Simon Bishop at Boss FIght #2, he’s gotta be locked in. But it’s back to the drawing board for Jeremiah Ford. After having two impressive victories, he looked completely lost out there. To his credit though, at times he read the fight well and wasn't afraid of engaging. This is a setback for him, but he’s still in the running.

["Babylonian Gorgon" by The Bags plays throughout the arena. The Black Rose steadily makes her way out and keeps right on trucking. She sporadically looks out to the crowd as she keeps her pace, mentally taking it all in. ]

DANTE REED

Hanako Takeuchi’s debut fight shocked the world with a one kick KO in a record setting 25 seconds. If her resume in DTW, IJPW, Union Battleground, and other companies doesn’t fully embrace her deadly striking capabilities, that short ordered fight surely does!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

You mention her other ventures, Dante, and I have to play devil’s advocate here and wonder if her extensive work here recently will play a part in this fight. She has gone through some hellacious wars in numerous deathmatch stipulations, and no doubt that takes a brutal toll on your body. Her opponent tonight is also a world class striker, so I would think Hanako is at a disadvantage tonight.

[Lux steps out to the crowd with a smirk on her lips, the hood of her black sweatshirt pulled over her blonde hair. She slaps hands and bumps fists on her way down the aisle but never breaks focus from the cage.]

DANTE REED

To continue with your characterization, Lux Forte definitely holds her own standing up. She completely dominated Xabier Belazco in her UGP debut fight, imposing her will onto him. Lux has taken some fights since UGP #1 in other promotions, but she has stayed focused on her craft.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Lux Forte has that world class striking pedigree thanks to growing up and being influenced by her iconic boxing Father, Liem Forte. Forte can bang with the best of them, and I’m sure she’s not afraid to go toe-to-toe with Hanako. However, Lux has a shorter reach than Hanako, so she’s gonna need to stay close to keep herself in her striking range and out of Hanako’s.

MIKE DEMPSEY

Ladies and gentlemen, the following bout is scheduled for three rounds in the UGP Cruiserweight Division. I TESTIFIED

MY MOMMA CRIED

BLACK PEOPLE DIED

WHEN THE OTHER MAN LIED

[As “Shut ‘em Down” by Public Enemy plays over the PA system, Real Killas’ own Roscoe Robinson emerges to the main stage. Wearing a pink and blue walkout fight kit, he’s followed by an entourage of coaches and security guards. Robinson looks focused but also calm in the midst of battle. Robinson gets checked out by the official standing cageside to ensure he is fit to fight and legal for action. He steps in the cage and shadow boxes on his towards his corner.]

DANTE REED

And now coming to cageside, a member of the Real Killas MMA camp and a very vocal self promoter, Roscoe Robinson is ready to make some noise inside the octagon. This guy has been one of the most talked about fighters in UGP with his gutsy call outs and more importantly, his impressive performances in his young MMA career!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Robinson is definitely not someone to shy away from a good verbal brawl, and some have been referring to him as “The Shooter”. Robinson’s victory in the first ever UGP fight got the masses talking, but now the mania fully surrounds this guy, who most certainly has a burning bright future ahead of him still. Tonight, he has a chance to advance in this tournament and go for gold. That would unquestionably sky rocket this guy’s career into MMA superstardom!

LIGHTS OUT

YOU’RE TALKING TOO LOUD

SO JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH

WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU NOW

[“Lights Out” by Hollywood Undead blares over the loudspeaker and Seth Daniels pops out of the curtain and onto the stage wearing his green and black walkout fight kit with his crew following behind. As Daniels walks down the ramp, his villainous behavior is gone, only showing a stern and focused look.]

DANTE REED

You know, Seth Daniels is a guy who is known to be quite the trash talker, but for this fight, he’s been uncharacteristically quiet. I don’t know if it’s the magnitude of this fight, or better yet, his opponent, but it seems his approach is a little off.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

No doubt, we were all waiting to hear his responses and fuel a social media war leading up to this fight with Robinson, who has taken a reputation of a trash talker himself. But these two have been somewhat reserved, possibly to focus on this fight. Either way, we’re here now and ready to see some excitement.

[Seth Daniels strips down and gets checked out the referee before bear crawling his way up the steps into the octagon and doing a little showboating routine before heading to his corner.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

[Robinson keeps his head lowered towards the ground while he bounces in place and this place seems about to burst! He can be sure the fans are behind him today.]

MIKE DEMPSEY

The referee for this Junior Heavyweight bout is Herschel Warden. He checks off with each man one last time and this fight is underway!

DANTE REED

Great opening round to this fight! Both fighters didn’t shy away from attacking and working in some offense. It’s hard to say who took that round.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I agree, both guys got a few good solid shots in, but neither one took full control of the fight. Daniels did have that surge right at the end of the round, so that may play a factor in the judge’s scoring.

DANTE REED

People here in Daytona Beach will not regret paying for this ticket. Daniels' awesome performance was worth the money. And now, he goes on to the Junior Heavyweight Championship finals to face the winner of Daniel Fisk and Nathan Lucas.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Big props to Daniels for the big win, but I also want to give some props to Roscoe Robinson here tonight. This guy is on the right path to becoming the face of this company, I can just feel it. Tonight wasn’t his night, but I know he’ll be back in the gym Monday morning ready to roll.

UGP3_Fisk-vs-Lucas.png

IT’S AMAZING

I’M THE REASON

EVERYBODY FIRED UP THIS EVENING

[“Amazing” by Kanye West thumps over the loudspeaker and Nathan Lucas emerges to the stage wearing his black and neon green walkout fight kit with crew members from his camp following behind. Lucas has a stone cold look on his face as he slowly prowls down the aisle. He makes it to cageside where he is checked up by the fight official. Once he’s cleared, he races up the steps and jogs around the cage a couple times before staying put in his corner.]

DANTE REED

Coming off an impressive debut win at UGP #2, this semifinals bout is a big moment here for Nathan Lucas. Going up against one of the icons of MMA, he has a chance to not only go on to fight for the Junior Heavyweight Championship, but also add to his legacy with a signature victory in the process.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Lucas has that old school mentality that his opponent Daniel Fisk talked about trying to bring back to this sport. He’s a no flash, no filler type of workhorse. No flashy gimmicks, no attention grabbing nicknames, just a guy that wants to fight!

WORD UP, LET ME JUST FUCK WITH YOUR MIND, PLEASE

HEY! HEY YO YO YO, YO! LET ME FUCK UP YOUR MIND

ON TIME, SHOWING, YOU THE, RHYTHM

AS I GET WRECK AND GET RAW

YEAH I BE THE MAN, COMING OFF, THAT BE RAW

IT’S BUSTA RHYMES GIVING YOU MUCH MORE

SO

[House lights dim to black and the spotlights throughout all the arena are blue as voice intro beginning of "Everything Remains Raw" by Busta Rhymes begins to play. The camera cuts to a spotlighted Daniel Fisk grill-facing the camera with a half smirk his mouth guard already set in his mouth with focus in his eyes. He walks forward toward the octagon slapping a few fives on the way but never turning his attention from the cage.]

[Once he reaches the outside he rolls his neck and bobs up and down a little bit and hugs his entire team before getting checked and entering the cage. He walks to the middle of the cage and stands facing Maxine’s side and rotates his wrists. Barely moves, just only rotating his wrists as if loading them up before backing up to his corner.]

DANTE REED

Like Lucas, Daniel Fisk is coming into this fight after a stunning UGP debut fight at UGP #2. The Real Killas MMA Owner has been one of, if not, the most vocal fighters in this companies short existence, but to me that just shows how much this all means to him. He’s constantly talking up the other fighters in the camp and he’s never one to shy away from or sugarcoat what his points.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Fisk has definitely been a huge part in the early successes here, and you’re right, the love of MMA that he has goes above and beyond. But make no mistake, this is a big moment for Fisk as well. As he mentioned during the press conference, he came up short in his only title opportunity 400-some days ago. I don’t think he wants anything more than to win here tonight and getting that second chance.

MIKE DEMPSEY

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Wrestler and Boxer with a record of 1-0. He stands 6’5” and weighing in at 225 pounds. From Long Beach, California by way of Newark, New Jersey, fighting out of Real Killas MMA, he is “.44” Daniel Fisk!

This is it, the fight we’ve all been waiting for! Two brutes with devastating power ready to let loose.  64% of the fans that took our social media poll believe that Daniel Fisk walks out victorious and on to the finals.

DANTE REED

A pretty fair match in this one. I can't say who will be the one who will be raising his fist after the match. But one thing is for sure, we’re about to see some fireworks! The referee for this main event contest is Dusty Whittaker. He checks off with each fighter one last time and he calls for the fight! And this one is underway!

DANTE REED

What a shot! It’s all over! Daniel Fisk catches Nathan Lucas with a one-two hook and uppercut combo and ends his night early!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Even after both men had early first round KOs to get to here, I did not expect to see this!

DANTE REED

A great performance by Daniel Fisk Jr. today. He read the fight well and wasn't afraid of engaging. Came out and got after it with some great combinations and kept Lucas guessing.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Nathan Lucas has got to be upset about the finish. He was working in some good shots, but Fisk got a few clean strikes in and just never let up after that. I’m sure he’ll take this one in stride and get back to work.
