[After the opening intro video finishes up, we fade into the DakotaDome in Vermillion, South Dakota which is packed with 10,000 fans in attendance. The crowd is on their feet cheering in anticipation for the night’s bouts. Camera angles pan around from one point to another, catching fans, athletes, and celebrities in attendance. We then transition to meet the voices of the octagon, Toussaint Harper and Warren "Warhead" Williams standing cageside.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Welcome ladies and gentlemen, we are live on the Battleground Network at the DakotaDome in Vermillion, South Dakota and this is UGP 7! I am Toussaint Harper and alongside me is Warhead Williams. Tonight we embark on the 2019 journey and our first UGP event of the year has two championship matches headlining the night, alongside many big rematches, contenders continuing the grind, and debuts!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Harpy I'm excited to see what 2019 has in store for Union Grand Prix. The company has continued to grow, rostering over 50 competitors across four divisions! Tonight, as you mentioned, we have two championship fights highlighting the night. Our Co-Main Event of the evening will see Lightweight Champion Jordan Parker-Kane look to successfully defend his title for a second time as he takes on Takeshi Kato. the Genetic Freak has been quite impressive in his short tenure, taking down the striker Aryeh Rothstein on short notice, then scoring a shocking upset over Kaelan Laughlin. Those wins were definitely impressive, but we have come to know that JPK is the undefeated champion for a reason. Both of these guys are masterful on the ground, so we will surely see a technical chess match out there.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

And in our Main Event, Heavyweight Champion Derrick La'Bell will look to defend his title for the first time against a resurrected Donnie Calabrese. "Dog Face" Donnie is coming in tonight on a two fight win streak and has looked very good in those fights. However, we all know we cannot ignore the fact that Derrick La'Bell has essentially destroyed this division, taking down just about every opponent that has stepped in front of him. This rematch from the Heavyweight Round Robin will surely be a big statement fight for both fighters.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

And speaking of rematches, some of the other big rematches we have on the card tonight is former Cruiserweight Champion Daniel Fisk taking on Seth Daniels in a tournament finals rematch. As we all know, Fisk won the first contest and thus became the first 225 pound division champ. Daniels has been on a losing skid since that fight, so a win here tonight would be huge for him. Fisk on the other hand is looking to rebound from his shocking loss in the title fight against fellow Real Killas MMA competitor Roscoe Robinson.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

And our last rematch fight tonight, Edan McLeod will be taking on Robert Guilliman in what was one of the greatest Middleweight fights we have seen that doesn't include Champion Cristian Bonanno. In their first go round, Edan McLeod capitalized on his high volume striking and completely dominated Guilliman to a unanimous decision. Both of these fighters sit at the top of the contenders rankings, and if Guilliman can avenge his loss to McLeod, it'll be hard to argue that he won't be next in line for a title fight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Guilliman showed a lot of heart in the fight. He took a beating but never gave up. You know the drive is there, now it's time to see if he learned and grew from that loss here tonight. Let's not waste anymore time, though. It's time for our first fight of the evening!
