[The camera goes around the arena after the first fight, focusing in on different fans throughout the building excited for what the rest of the night will bring. Coming down to the front row, the camera pauses on one of the newest signees to the Lightweight Division, Natalie King.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS
As we take a break from the action, here’s our first look at one of the newest fighters signed to Union Grand Prix! For those unaware, we’re looking at Natalie King, an amateur kickboxer turned professional wrestler turned professional MMA fighter. Here tonight to not only cheer on her RAW GRAPS teammates Talon Clem and Fabio Pacitti, but to also get a closer look at some of her potential opponents in the deep Lightweight Division.

TOUSSAINT HARPER
And like you mentioned, Natalie’s a two-time F2W Melee Champion and while you always wonder how wrestlers will fare when stepping into MMA, Natalie’s got the benefit of having fought prior to wrestling and even in F2W, it was a hybrid of all styles. Needless to say, she knows how to fight, but her real test will be fighting inside of a cage.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS
To add onto your point, if you haven’t fought in a cage before and I don’t believe Natalie has, it’s a whole new world. Lot of these kickboxers need time to adjust from fighting in a ring to fighting in a cage. But once you look past that, given her height, reach, and length advantage over most fighters in the Lightweight Division, there’s some serious potential, and I can’t wait to see her first fight!

TOUSSAINT HARPER
Then you add in how hard we see Talon Clem go, you’ve got to imagine Natalie King has the same mentality. I think it’s safe to say we’re both excited to see how Natalie fares in Union GP. And now we head back over to the octagon for some heavyweight action as Fabio Pacitti takes on Donnie Calabrese!

CAGESIDE

WITH DYLAN CARTER

[As the cameras pan over the sea of fans gathered in attendance a few devote wrestling fans hold there signs up high. The scream things like “Let the Wolf Play” or “Shut your DAMN mouth.” As if planned from above the camera finds itself zoomed in on Alexander Irvine, who is dressed as comfortable as a southern boy could be, who is sitting next to Dylan Carter. Irvine smirks to the camera and holds up his right fist as if getting into a fighting stance with a mix of boo’s echoing behind him.]

DYLAN CARTER

Welcome Union fans. I’m here again tonight to introduce Alexander “The Unnatural” Irvine who’s taken the time out of his hectic Professional Wrestling touring and training regimen to be here tonight. It sounds like you’re not very popular with fans Alex.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

Fuck’em Dylan.

[The fans respond as one would expect bring a smile to Irvine’s face as he adjusts the dollar over his flannel shirt.]

ALEXANDER IRVINE

What’s that slang shit these kids in the back are saying these days Dylan? Haters gonna hate or some shit like that?

[Dylan laughs a little bit.]

DYLAN CARTER

I believe that is what the “kids” are saying these days.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

People don’t gotta love me for the camera Dylan. When I’m in the ring look at these same fans and they will be rabid with ecstasy because everyone knows I appeal to the primal side of these people.

DYLAN CARTER

What does that mean?

ALEXANDER IRVINE

It means I do and say on camera what people are too afraid to do in their own lives. Step into the ring and I’ll break your jaw, run your mouth and drag you into the ring kicking and screaming.

DYLAN CARTER

What do you think about the Cruiserweight Bout coming up.

[Irvine smirks and adjusts himself as he leans towards Dylan.]

ALEXANDER IRVINE

In my opinion there’s only three men in this division that matters at this moment. The Champion, the winner of this match, and mother fucking Alexander Irvine. When this match is over, I’ll simply have to get through one more fighter to get ol’ Dante and the goon’s eye on me. The fans want to see what I can do so give me somebody worth beating and not some stupid redneck or beta-male. I’ll run through them like Bobbi London does a Wendy’s drive through. Gruncle Irv’s back to wage war so give me someone to fight.

[Irvine smirks as Dylan looks back to the camera.]

[The camera cuts to a backstage hallway, Savannah Skye standing by with one of the new Union Grand Prix signees, “Ripcord” Travis Decker.]

SAVANNAH SKYE
Ladies and gentlemen, I am here at this time with one of our new Middleweight signees, Travis Decker.

[Travis, dressed in a nice button up shirt and jeans smiles at the camera, before turning to Savannah.]

SAVANNAH SKYE
Now Travis, not only are you new to Union Grand Prix, but you’re also new to the mixed martial arts world in general, aren’t you?

TRAVIS DECKER
Not exactly, Savannah. While it's true I have yet to have a professional fight, I have trained for years to get to this point. I have waited until now to sign a contract and fight for real because up to this point, I felt like I wasn’t ready. This is not a sport you can just decide you want to do one day, join a company and do it. It takes determination, work ethic, and a bit of skill helps.

[Travis lets out a chuckle.]

TRAVIS DECKER
So while I am new to the cage, I have been in this world for awhile now, and I truly feel like I’m ready.

SAVANNAH SKYE
Well that is great to hear, and I’m sure we all look forward to seeing what you can do in the cage!

TRAVIS DECKER
Thank you, I hope I don’t disappoint. Sorry to cut this short, but I had to quickly see the boss man to finalise a few things, and I need to get back to my seat so I don’t miss the next fight.

SAVANNAH SKYE
Of course Travis, thank you for your time.

[Travis walks out of shot as the cameras cuts back to the octagon.]

MANY MEN, WISH DEATH UPON ME

BLOOD IN MY EYE DOG AND I CAN’T SEE

I’M TRYING TO BE WHAT I’M DESTINED TO BE

AND NIGGAS TRYING TO TAKE MY LIFE AWAY

["Many Men” by 50 Cent blasts over the loudspeaker and “The Silver Tongued Devil” Aries Reed emerges to the stage wearing his purple and silver walkout fight kit with crew members from his camp following behind. Reed looks hyped up and can seemingly be seen talking trash as he slowly walks toward the cage. Once he makes it to cageside he gets checked out by the fight official to ensure he’s fit to fight. Once cleared, he bear crawls up the steps and stomps into the cage, giving out a loud battle cry before taking to his corner.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

And now it’s time to get things going in the direction of our next bout, this one is for the undisputed number one contender for the Middleweight Championship. Coming out now is a man who has been on a tear since debuting at UGP 5. Aries Reed comes in tonight 4-0, with his last victory a first round TKO over former MMA Champion Navorro Williams.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

This man shows that he’s ready for this opportunity. Not only has he won four straight, he’s done it in spectacular fashion, all ending in a knockout or TKO. Reed will have to have that same intensity tonight as he goes toe-to-toe with another man who mirrors that tenacity.

WHEN THE LINE FROZE, WHAT DID I SEE

A BAD MOTHERFUCKER STANDING NEXT TO ME

WITH HIS EYES CLOSE, TOLD HE CAN’T SEE

TRYNA FOLLOWS ORDERS, JUST GONE AND BE FREE

[As the opening guitar riff to "Bad Motherfucker" by Machine Gun Kelly rips over the speakers, Cristian Bonanno walks towards the ring with purpose blowing by extended hands reaching out for high fives. He’s coming in tonight after that shocking loss to Robert Guilliman, that saw Bonanno take a kick to the dome to put an end to his winning ways.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

And you don’t think for a second that he has forgotten that either. Some people were claiming that Bonanno deserved an immediate rematch due to his total domination over the division. But there were reports that Dante Reed initially was going to grant that, but simply couldn’t overlook Aries Reed’s similar climb. So now, we are all in for a treat as we see these two men square off with a title fight on the horizon!

TOUSSAINT HARPER

I can’t say who the favorite is in my mind. Both of these men are trained killers and are the best in the business. TOUSSAINT HARPER

Interesting final round here. Daniel Fisk looked completely zapped out there and didn’t get much of anything going.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I think it’s safe to say that Nathan Lucas won that round, but now we take it to the judge’s to see how they see it.

CAGESIDE

WITH DYLAN CARTER

[The camera pans throughout the crowd to see thousands of fans cheering. Then we switch angles to the front row and see Dylan Carter standing cageside with one of the newest additions to the Heavyweight Division, HILITE FC member Alejandro Rivera.]

DYLAN CARTER
Hi folks.  I'm currently here with Union Grand Prix heavyweight contender and recent pro wrestling retiree Alejandro Rivera.

[Alejandro smiles towards the reporter.]

DYLAN CARTER
How is retired life treating you?

ALEJANDRO RIVERA
It's treating me well, thank you and how's the life of a reporter?

[Dylan and Alejandro laugh before she continues on.]

DYLAN CARTER
It's been a great nights of fights.  How are you feeling about the upcoming title match between Derrick La'Bell and your HILITE FC teammate Brock Quarry?

ALEJANDRO RIVERA
Brock is a great fighter.  I've trained with him for this match, and believe me Dylan he's going to come out tonight with the belt and none of us in Toronto will be surprised.

DYLAN CARTER
Now on twitter you said that whether Brock Quarry wins or loses you're coming after the heavyweight title?

ALEJANDRO RIVERA
I did.  When you have high level heavyweight's on one team it's bound to happen, and we understand that.  One way or the other I'm certain the Heavyweight title will be in Toronto.

DYLAN CARTER
There's been news that you've challenged Bobbi London for Boss Fight NIght 8 and she's accepted.  Are those rumors true?

ALEJANDRO RIVERA
We've both agreed, but we're waiting around to see what Dante Reed has to say.  I see no hiccup in the road though.

DYLAN CARTER
Well thank you so much for your time and enjoy the main event.

ALEJANDRO RIVERA
Thank you!

[The two shake hands before Dylan walks away and Alejandro sits back down to enjoy the main event.]

THIS IS HOW I SHOW MY LOVE
I MADE IT IN MY MIND BECAUSE
I BLAME IT ON MY ADD BABY

[As "Sail" by Awolnation plays over the loudspeaker, the towering Brock Quarry slowly steps out to the main stage. He comes out wearing his green and black walkout fight kit with crew members from his camp following behind. Quarry has a stern and focused look on his face while slowly marching down the aisle. He makes it to cageside where he is checked up on by the fight official. Once cleared, he stomps up the steps and calmly takes his place in his corner.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Here comes Brock Quarry, the Heavyweight phenom who’s had a rocket strapped to his back as of late. The big man lost his debut fight, but since then has gone on a three fight win streak, which has brought him here at the big dance tonight.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He has shown a lot of improvements since debuting, and took full advantage of a division that has just recently started growing. Brock trains with fellow new number one Cruiserweight contender Nathan Lucas and Lightweight Champion Takeshi Kato at HILITE FC, so we’ll have to see if Kato’s champion aura rubbed off on Quarry.

HOLD UP, SON, WORD
YEAH, TO ALL THE KILLERS AND A HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLAS
FOR REAL NIGGAS WHO AIN’T GOT NO FEELINGS
CHECK IT OUT NOW

[“Shook Ones Part II” by Mobb Deep plays throughout the arena. “Long Island Strong” Derrick La’Bell slowly makes his way out while bouncing to keep warm in his black and white walkout fight kit and the Heavyweight Championship strapped around his waist. Just behind him, guards and his corner follow his lead towards the octagon. La’Bell doesn’t show much emotion as he makes it to cageside and gets checked by the bout official. Once cleared, he stomps up the steps and hands off the Heavyweight Title off to the referee then heads straight to his corner, shadow boxing along the way.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

And now the final walkout of the night, Heavyweight Champion Derrick La’Bell is set to attempt to make history tonight. La’Bell comes in on a two fight win streak after suffering his only loss in the finals of the Heavyweight Championship Round Robin.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

La’Bell steamrolled through the inaugural championship round robin, going 4-0 and being the heavy favorite to become the first champion in the division of the giants. However, he suffered a shocking loss to Ferdinand Diao, but was given an immediate rematch one month later, in which he avenged that loss and hasn’t looked back ever since.

MIKE DEMPSEY

And his opponent, fighting out of the red corner, a Boxer with a Union GP record of 5-1. He stands 6’ even and weighing in at 265 pounds. From Uniondale, Long Island, New York, fighting out of Slaughterhouse New York, he is the reigning, defending, undisputed Union Grand Prix Heavyweight Champion of the World, “The Beast” Derrick La’Bell!

[La'Bell is beating himself up in the corner before the fight begins, smacking himself in the face, body and legs to get ready for this war.]

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Listen to this crowd! They are fully behind the champ here. The fans at home watching are behind him as well, as 54% of the fans that took our social media poll believes The Beast continues his reign on top.

TOUSSAINT HARPER

It’s hard to argue with history and numbers. Derrick has been at the forefront of the Heavyweight Division since day one. Now he puts his title on the line against Brock Quarry and looks to make history with the most successful title defenses in Union Grand Prix history. The referee for this main event bout is Dusty Whittaker. He checks off with each man one last time and calls for the bell! And here we go!

Quarry is standing while La'Bell is on the ground on his back again. La’Bell darts back up and starts to look a little worried here.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Incredible display of strength here by Brock Quarry who simply manhandles the champion here in the first couple minutes in the opening round.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I’ve never seen anyone impose their will on La’Bell like that before. His corner has to have taken notice and should be a little concerned about it.

[La'Bell closes in and tries some clinching in order to control the fight. Quarry moves backwards and circles around La'Bell to avoid the clinch. TOUSSAINT HARPER

I’m not sure what La’Bell is thinking here trying to pull guard with a mountain of a man who has a great wrestling background. He needs to stand up and tee off!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

Derrick has been nasty with the ground and pound, but your right Harpy. Stand up and wear the big man down a bit. He may be getting a little antsy, seeing how Quarry has pretty much has had his way with the champ so far.

La'Bell moves back and takes a deep breath. The buzzer sounds and Dusty Whittaker tells the fighters to go to their corners as the round is over.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Round one is in the books for this main event title fight, and I think you have to give this one to Brock Quarry.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

I agree with you there, Harpy. Not only was Brock more aggressive in his offense, but he was able to fend off a lot of what La’Bell was trying to set up. Derrick needs to focus on the stand up game in the second round and try and wear out his opponent.

RG_round2.png

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Derrick La’Bell continues to improve his striking in the ground and has Brock Quarry stuck in a guessing game at this point. This fight is too close to call at this point.

The ref stops the action and the fighters head off to their corners.]

TOUSSAINT HARPER

Much better round this time for the champion Derrick La’Bell. I gotta say it’s a ballsy move to initiate the ground game with Quarry, but he’s showing no fear and was able to string some offense together.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

He definitely turned a 180 from the first round. Here in The second he was able to handle Brock at his own game. Maybe it’s a psychological thing to show Quarry he’s not afraid to take the fight anywhere, and I commend him for it. TOUSSAINT HARPER

A good performance by Derrick La'Bell tonight. He read the fight well and wasn't afraid of engaging and taking on Quarry at his own game. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to seal the deal and now he goes back to the drawing board.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS

It was a superb display of technique and knowledge by Brock Quarry that won him this fight. Right out of the gate, he took it to the champ and showed that he belongs in this elite class to few can claim. Union Grand Prix management should pay these guys extra just for the excitement they provide to the fans tonight!
