SIGNINGS AND RE-SIGNINGS

PHILADELPHIA — In the aftermath of UGP 11, Union Grand Prix executives has been hard at work in the negotiations department. We can happily announce three new signings, three re-signings, and two nearing deals.

One of the biggest re-signings has been the return of former Union Grand Prix Heavyweight Champion Ferdinand Diao. That is, until his return fight with Donnie Calabrese. After their battle, where Calabrese won in a first round KO, both Heavyweights signed new deals. The two big guys have each signed a 4 fight, $250k per fight exclusive deal.


Also, on the docket, Lightweight competitor Xabier Belazco has re-signed a new deal, which is a 5 fight, $50k per fight nonexclusive deal.

We can also announce that three new fighters have inked deals. Middleweights Billie Horn and Brendan McCarthy and Heavyweight Mike Hunt. No news have been announced when they will make their debuts, but sourced claim that Hunt and McCarthy may be penciled in for a June fight, while Horn is being eyed for a July debut.


Former Heavyweight Champion Brock Quarry and Lightweight competitor Kenzi Grey have fought out their deals and are currently free agents. However, there have been speculations that negotiations have been ongoing for both fighters. We will keep you updated with all of the latest news concerning any and all contract negotiations.
