SIX FIGHTERS INK NEW DEALS

SYDNEY — President Dante Reed continues to keep Union Grand Prix at the forefront of Mixed Martial Arts on a global scale after a busy weekend of contract negotiations. He managed to secure six fighters while two fighters from the 9th World Performance Institute continue to be at a standstill. Of the six that re-signed, current Bantamweight Champion Dallas Meechan scored the biggest cash out. His new deal is worth $15 million in total, with the remaining $800,000 in base pay from his previous contract converted into a signing bonus. Several other amenities were agreed upon, one of which included an advertising partnership with Meechan's biggest sponsor, Johnnie Walker Scotch Whiskey, during at least one pay-per-view event in which Meechan has a guaranteed Main Event spot. The rest of the disclosed financials for the newly re-signed fighters are as follows:


Dallas Meechan — $15M (10 fights @ $1.5M - Exclusive) (+ $800K signing bonus)

Gauge Lattimore — $1.35M (3 Fights @ $450K - Non-Exclusive)

Reggie James — $1.25M (5 Fights @ $250K - Exclusive)

Xabier Belazco — $500K (4 Fights @ $125K - Exclusive)

Abbie Peterson — $460K (4 Fights @ $115K - Non-Exclusive)

Nigel Musgrove — $400K (2 Fights @ $200K - Exclusive)
